Personally, I think Roy Williams should have been anointed captain to set the tone.

Oh well. :(

... what tone is that, exactly?

Actions speak louder than words or titles....

Hence Buehler is the reason millions of people around the world suffer from hearing loss.

4 sounds like alot

but we had 9 team captains or something like that Wade's 1st year
I think it might have been four then too with Keith Davis as the ST captain.

Last year, they had 8 which was a crazy number.

I like the number they have this year and how he plans to rotate the ST capt weekly.

It'd would of been nice to have a safety be captain.

It would have been nice to have a safety period....

LeRon McClain eludes Cowboys safety Ken Hamlin on his way to the end zone during the Ravens' 2008 win over Dallas. McClain was selected by the Ravens out of Alabama with the No. 137 overall pick in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL draft.

Yeah, a player that has earned nothing on this team (at great expense in terms of lost draft picks) should be captain. Well conceived.

Sorry if repost. Heard it on ESPN 103.3

Offense - Romo, Witten
Defense - James, Ware

Better than last year where we had 97 captains.

I may be in the minority here, but I almost wish Ratliff would be captain over Ware.

I think Rat can be the emotional leader of this defense more than Ware. Ware is hands down the leader by example though.

One of the mediots said that Ware had been more vocal so far this year. You can't go wrong with either one.

I was thinking more like Newman.

A player who is now our so-called go to guy, who has had a lot of criticism, who has been wearing the star, who should be welcomed by his other teammates. The fact you think it's such a silly idea shows that you can't grasp what hospitality means. Not to mention, it would fire the guy up a bit and show that the team has some confidence in him.
