Tony Romo's practice habits were reportedly "so bad" that several Dallas players lost respect for Jason Garrett's inability to "corrall" Romo in practice.
Romo reportedly did not treat practice work consistently and he forced throws too often. If true, perhaps Romo has become the "superstar QB" that Bill Parcells warned against. It's impossible to know the complete truth here, but it's obvious there is a troubling level of discord between Garrett, Romo, and various teammates.

A comprehensive pattern of team-wide turmoil and lack of discipline reportedly plagued the Cowboys throughout the 2008 season.
The team charter left late for road games five times this season because of player tardiness. It seems no player was immune from late arrivals, missed meetings, undisciplined practices, and broken relationships with coaches. While Jerry Jones stands behind Wade Phillips, it's becoming clear that the franchise needs a full-blown exorcism. Something has to change.

Felix Jones (toe surgery) is expected to be healthy by spring OTAs.
Jones is still in a walking boot after having surgery in late November, but he'll be on the practice field in late March. Jones' spot on the Cowboys' depth chart is unclear, however. Marion Barber will remain the starter, but the No. 2 job is probably up for grabs between Jones and Tashard Choice.
