But isn't this a great problem to have? This season when we were down to the 3rd stringer without a backup to him
demonstrated the value of 3 good RBs.
Yep. It's the textbook definition of 'a nice problem to have.'

However, given the soap opera/circus that is the current Dallas Cowboys, it does provide yet another opportunity for discord.

Don't see why we can't get them all carries.

My wish is that they could get 10 to 15 touches each per game, but do you really see that happening with Garrett as OC?

I am going to go TOTAL AGREEMENT on this one.

The things is MANY will say the folowing:
  • its not realistic
  • thats not how you do it
  • not enough carries for everyone
  • blah blah blah
When in reality, the NFL is changing right before our eyes.
The one back system has been faded out(yes now someone will post an exception to the rule or two) blah blah blah

BUT...

Part of the success in the NFL is gameplanning for mismatches & being unpredictable.

A 3-headed RB attack per game would:
  • increase the chances of having fresher, healthier running back stable
  • cause defenses to prepare for one than one back
  • each brings something special(results) to the table
  • make us unpredictable

It may be hard to give them all enough carries to please them esp Barber. Those guys get knicked up enough during the season to have one or two down at anytime on occasion.

Having three steady and better RBs is a good thing as long as they don't get surly. Felix won't be a problem IMO. Likely not Choice either. I suspect Barber won't be either as long as he doesn't drop to third on the list.
