It won’t mean anything to the fans if the Cowboys don’t do something in the playoffs.

Who are these fans of whom you speak? It will mean something to me; I'll find it pretty cool. Strange fans who can't enjoy more than one thing about the sport and their team.

The longtime frustrated fans that have been waiting 2+ decades for the Cowboys to at least win a divisional round game. You mean to tell me you’ll find it pretty cool if they go one and done in the playoffs again? You might want to read my posts again.

You said that a record "wouldn't mean anything" to fans if they didn't go far in the playoffs. I'm telling you that I think that's sad. The record would be pretty cool and I would enjoy that. Going one and done in the playoffs would be disappointing. Both things can be true.

OK you’re talking about the sack record. It would mean something to some fans but most would blow it off if the team falls flat in the playoffs.
