The difference was Foles got over his usual top in that playoff run and Flacco was just asked not to screw it up and make the plays when they were there. Same as McMahon, Dilfer and Johnson. Don't bury the D with mistakes and we can win.
jets seem to be totally in love with darnold. if he turns out to be as good as they think he'll be, giants will be kicking themselves in the behind for passing on him and going for saquon.

I think they tried but just didn’t indentify the needs soon enough while practically ignoring the defensive core weakness.
