I was glad to see Team USA win but more importantly to me was how the carried themselves as representatives of the USA. Frankly the last so called dream team I cheered against and that was the 1st time ever I pulled against a US team in any sport. You had guys who did not seem to care about being on the team and a hot dog mentality. This team conducted themselves in a manner that should be expected; they attended other sport activities and supported other US athletes. So while I'm happy they got gold I even more happy with how they represented the USA

I agree with everything you said. This was a team that was fun to watch and a joy to cheer and support. I would have still liked this team even had they ended up not winning the gold. They did a great job of representing themselves and the U.S.

Exactly. I was proud of these guys win or lose. Unlike the last US team who were an embarrassment.

He did a great job of keeping the ego's in check and reminding them of what being a member of the USA team entailed which was not just about winning.

It is not after a made basket. It is to get everyone's mind on playing defense. I don't like Duke at all. It is not because of the coach. It is their fans and several of the players that have gone through there recently. Just not likable guys.

Don't they often do it after a made basket though even if it is about defence?

As I always say, the only thing worse than a Duke black player is a Duke white player ;)

Damn why all the hate for Duke? Coach K is nothing but class and is a great coach.

I'm sure there are Duke players that all of you have liked. If you aren't a fan of Grant Hill, then there's something really wrong with you, and you may need to have your Cowboys fanship revoked.

I liked Grant Hill and the teams he played on. It is the players from the last several seasons that have gotten obnoxious.

That's the state of college basketball for the most part now. But IMO for every Duke player who is obnoxious, there are multiple guys who handle themselves the right way. Carlos Boozer and Elton Brand fit that bill, and more recently, Greg Paulus, John Scheyer and it looks like Kyle Singler will be a good one.

ask William Avery, Luol Deng, McRoberts or anyone else who dared want to leave early how classy he is. Hell, he told one who wanted to leave early that he was "ruining his program".

He has had great success no doubt but that hardly makes him classy.

Of course, UNC is back on top in that conference and the planets are now aligning correctly.
