Teams offering 70 cents on the dollar for a trade up into the top 10

This is the year to stock pile future picks.

Move down 3 or 4 spots for a second next year.

Ill take a 2 to get to
20-22 rather than take Tet or Golden at 12
Me too.
Fwiw, that would be more like getting 80-90% value

In the end, I bet IF there are trades, the teams trading down will get more than 70% on the dollar. 95-105% on the dollar is the norm, so 70% seems extreme even in a bad draft.

What an awful draft this is.
Maybe the low cost to move up means we can package a couple of the 7s and a 5th to move back up into the 4th somewhere

I read an article that was suggesting we were considering moving #76 for Breece Hall. Only a team this dumb would trade a top 100 pick for a RB in his final contract year in a draft this deep at RB lol

Seems dumb enough to have JJ’s fingerprints on it

Several teams picking in the top 10 are open to trading down — the challenge has been finding teams willing to move up, per sources.

From what I’m hearing, there isn’t a strong push to trade up this year at the top, especially if it means giving up significant value that aligns with traditional trade charts.

As one source put it: “The current offers are 70 cents on the dollar.”

2013 was similar. 2013 was weak draft up top, rich in the middle. Our trade down for Frederick should have netted a 2nd but got us a 3rd.

I do wonder if the Cowboys are looking to get players attached in a trade down

What was our return in 2013? I remember you mentioned it a week or so ago

Just screams for a trade up for Jeanty....but we are that team now that just won't take that risk because we just don't have the guts to do it. Sad what this franchise has become.

Sounds about right. Jerry and Stevie trying to look smart for 70 cents on the dollar.

Feels like we're getting prepped thru "leaks" for a massive trade down and they will say that they still got the guy they wanted.

Sounds like a buyers market. Get that trade up deal with New England right now.

I hear you on drafting a RB to get the 4-5 years of rookie contract.

Fwiw, I think the discount to move up applies mostly to the first round only because the top of the draft is weaker than normal.
The rest of the draft is not as bad.
