Teams we need to lose this week

Eagles @ Seahawks - I'm cheering for the Eagles again this week.

Giants @ Bears - Go Bears... We probably got no chance here.

Green Bay @ Washington - We got a chance here. Go Packers.

Cardinals @ Atlanta - Go Cardinals... I really think we don't need to worry about Atlanta anymore for having a shot at a 1st round bye. They are 6-4 and I doubt we lose 4 games the whole year.

He's thinking we're competing against Seattle for the #1 seed in the NFC and homefield as opposed to worrying about the Eagles. I'm with you though, I want every NFC East team to lose and drown their playoff hopes.

They are a division rival, and the division is not won yet....so yes they are a threat.....

I think that means Giants and Skins losing and Seattle falling to Eagles. That's best possible outcome in my view.

I was looking at the schedule yesterday and made some notes on this subject of who we should root for.
Not only this wek but for the next several weeks, as to clinching a playoff spot. But way too many variables at this point as we all know that.
However, some thoughts.

We need to eliminate 10 teams. Here are the NFC teams and who they play.
Cowboys - Ravens, of course we want to win to get to 9-1
Saints - Panthers, Panthers won, but did this game really matter who won or loss. Panters would have had 7 losses, and a win by Dallas could basically eliminate them from any playoff spot regarding us. But now both have 6 losses, so this is actually probably better. we win, then it's basically 1 game as to being tied at worse case with 6 games to go.
Jaguars - Lions, normally would we want the Lions to lose, but a win keeps them ahead of GB...LOL...this has to do with HFA
Buccs - Chiefs, same thing, for HFA, and puts buccs at 6 losses also.
Cardinals - Vikings, this one doesn't matter as for losses
Dolphins - Rams, Rams loss would give them 6 also
Patriots - 49ers, 49ers aare out, so I want them to win, because it's the Cheatriots
Eagles - Seahawks, Divsion game, Seahawks here
Packers - Commanders, again, a divison game, GB here
Bears - Giants, same thing.

So if we win and some of these teams losing to get 6 losses on them, this would be a big step to getting closer to a playoff spot this early.

The primary goal is to win the division. Don't root for an NFC East team unless they're mathematically out of contention.
