cause the Eagles traded Barkley, so alot of people assumed Tebow would be the #3 QB, plus the Chip Kelly factor.

Once you take away his biggest asset{his legs} you see that the rest of him is horribly under average, im not even convinced hes better then Weeden.

I only saw one drive lead by Tebow this pre-season. He overcame a couple sack/penalty setbacks and threw a touchdown pass. It was a nice drive. My thought was that he looked pretty good in that one drive, against second teamers.

He looked better in the games than Weeden, Vaughn or Showers. His mechanics and accuracy have gotten better.

He didnt do well in the 2 point conversions, and they are not keeping a #3 on the roster.
No way he could beat out sanchez.
Also possible some other team picks him up

How many drives has Weeden had?? Heck, how many wins????

I do not like Weeden in any way. I don't believe in having back up quarterbacks that are there to "not loose " over "win games ". Weeden had a lot of practice with the starters last year and was/is still terrible. His "drive" against the slurs was a farce, he did very little on it. Still would take him over Tebow. If Crazy Chip drags you from the booth and still can't find a place for you, it's time to hang it up.

I still think we have to be able to design 2-3 passing plays that he can master as a backup.... Then run and hand off ball.....


Then I think back to jets players saying "he throws the ball .... Well.... He can't throw the ball...."

Tebow is absolutely better than Weeden. I don't want the Tebow circuits in Dallas. But Weeden is a ***** and Tebow at least is a great leader and good athlete.
