The only thing you can say right now is that there are 13 picks before the Cowboys pick with two of those picks already set. The Colts will take Luck and the Commanders will take RG3. Beyond that, you cannot count on anything.

Even if the Vikings announce early who they will pick at #3, you cannot count on it because if another team is desperate enough, they may way overpay to move up to that spot.

There is also a good chance that Jerry will trade up or down (more likely) depending on which players get picked before the Cowboys pick comes up.

I hope Jerrah just takes DeCastro at 14....don't trade down and screw it up. Jerrah sometimes likes to wheel and deal too much -- don't take the risk and please take the best option.

DeCastro will be a very good player for a long time. Selecting him will help the Cowboys right away and maybe we can stop complaining about he line for a change.

with our activity in FA, isnt that a signal that we are looking elsewhere in the draft besides OG? with Nagy, Costa, Kowalski, Livings, and Bernadeau added to the roster.

I don't think he even mentioned draft boards at all.. all he's trying to say is there are 5 guys who are pretty much guarenteed to go top 10. If you go by that, we have the 9th pick of the other guys. That's all he was saying. Not something that people need to get all snarky about. dont worry about it Roy, i'm glad you saw my point, and yes we're picking 14th, i never said we werent, but in my opinion we arent getting the 14th best player according to our needs and wants.

I understood what you were trying to say, even if the wording was a little fuzzy.. there's no need to respond if its just going to be some snarky comment that was already said 20 times in the thread. I agree we'll be getting a good player, and i doubt we'd even consider a player like Tannenhill, even if his value is around 14.. but there are probably about 5 guys who are almost guarentees to go in the top 10 picks, so your point does make some sense, in that we won't even have a chance at them.

It's okay to not respond to threads when we disagree with them. But way too frequently here, some are willing to pounce at the first opportunity.
