didnt joey galloway run a 4.1? i feel like i read that somewhere. being an ohio state fan and watching all their games i think he could be a great pick for us and take over for whenver TO or Terry decide to hang up the cleats. Fastest guy I've seen since Galloway in his prime. He'll run a 4.3 at the most. But a lot of colleges set up their 40s a yard or so shy of actually 40 yards and let the guys run barefoot so their times can look more impressive. Then at the combine these guys suddenly get exposed.

Every year I read about how the OSU defensive coaches were excited about using Ginn as a defensive back, but it didn't materialize. I think he saw some minimal time as a freshman and then nothing else. I wonder why that was.

Of course they were excited(in bold black), and why they switched him, plain and simple,to get more touches (in bold blue)

Played for his father, Ted Ginn Sr., in high school ... was selected as the USA Today Defensive Player of the Year ... also a 2004 Parade All-American ... SuperPrep named him as its 2004 National Defensive Player of the Year ... Most Valuable Player of the U.S. Army All-America game ... also played quarterback, wide receiver and running back for Glenville and returned punts and kickoffs ... intercepted eight passes as a senior, returning five of them for touchdowns ... one of his interception returns went for a state-record 102-yard touchdown, while another went for a 97-yard score ... also passed for 932 yards and 12 touchdowns and rushed for 845 yards and 17 touchdowns ... named one of Ohio's three 2003 Division I Offensive Players of the Year ... returned four punts and one kickoff for touchdowns.

You all can predict a bust, I'll predict (as I have since he was a freshman, no Johnny come lately here) as an intriguing combination KR/PR/Terry Glenn type WR/Nickelback. His skill set should have him in the NFL for a long time.

How bout at 3:03 when he shakes the guy out his shoe. This guy is amazing, if he is there at # 22 we gotta take em. We won't have to worry about KR/PR for a while.

Ted Ginn Jr. got ran down from behind by Notre Dames Zbikowski ( who runs a low 4.3 40 himself) and it wasnt an angle based run down. he literally ran him dwon from what I remember.
