I would be the first to say always treat others with respect, ... to treat others as you would want to be treated. I raised two sons with that line of thinking, and teach this on every team I have ever coached.
Having said that, .. does teasing/hazing/bullying not go on at some level on every pro and/or college team, .. even high school at a lesser level? Also in clubs, school bands, .. and also in many many work places.
Why have they jumped on this case like Incognito/Martin are the only ones, when there are many many other examples just like it going on?
Why are we hearing about this like it is the first time this has ever happened?
I knew the excuses would start coming soon....
Yes, and there are ongoing concerted efforts to wipe it out in most of these environments. See the anti-bullying campaigns in schools, anti-fraternity hazing campaigns on college campuses, harassment rules, required training and processes in most workplaces.I would be the first to say always treat others with respect, ... to treat others as you would want to be treated. Persumably because there was a complaint. And it has been publicized because the circumstances (Martin leaving the team) were so, um, public, and people want to know what came of it. Also: some case has to be the first. (I have no idea if this was the first, or simply the first that became so public). Why have they jumped on this case like Incognito/Martin are the only ones, when there are many many other examples just like it going on?
It is the first time (to my knowledge) this has ever happened, where a player left the team because of it and made a public accusation. Why are we hearing about this like it is the first time this has ever happened?

LOL, .. struggle with reading comprehension issues? .. I never defended, nor took up for what Incognito did. I did not side with Incognito.
I only wondered why other similar cases are not being scrutinized like this one.
You can keep waiting for the excuses.
Incognito is a thug.
yours was the classic
"Everyone is doing it"
After hearing about Pouncey, I think the Dolphins would be wise to get rid of him. That guy is poison. Supposedly, players went to his house for drugs, the Hernandez association, and now the racial harassment, and possibly threats of retaliation against a teammate. I think the Dolphins need to get to the root cause of this situation and it isn't just Incognito. They have some serious problems down there in Miami.
LOL, .. at least Jimnabby had an answer, .. all you have is a finger to point.
Talk about classic.
