Ted Wells Report on Incognito/Martin situation released

It would not surprise me at all if the NFL took a first or second round pick away from the Dolphins along with a couple million dollar fine or some sort of cap penalty. I have a feeling the NFL is going to send a very clear message to the other teams making an example of the Dolphins.

Fins owner will probably have to clean house now; they wanted to keep Filbin but with the whole staff basically saying
"See no Evil, Hear no evil, Speak no Evil" he really has little choice.

Based on twitter media, the OL coach will be the fall guy.

If anyone actually reads the report, which from all the tidbits I read was disgusting, he had his fingers on the whole thing and chose to not to do anything about it.

He's not expected to remain the OL coach.

I think it is safe to say that Goddell is going to be handing out some suspensions, especially for Incognito................of course it doesn't matter much for him, because no team is going to touch him in free agency with a 10 foot pole............his NFL career might be over.

As for Martin, I imagine the lawyers are lining up at his front door.................dude has one heck of a lawsuit he is fixing to file.

No way an OL coach wouldn't know what's going on. We spent more time together than any other group on a team
Ppl trying to act like the behavior in the Dolphins locker room only resides in the NFL. I'm out the game & I see it all over the place
NFL locker rooms will never be the normal workplace environment ppl
I would love to see ppl's text messages to friends to see how 'appropriate' they are
I would LOVE for someone to get 53 guys in the locker room to behave in this wonderful 'utopia' that some are speaking of
Ppl was fine with the meal at the restaurant but then they went into the kitchen and saw how it was prepared
Players have committed far more heinous actions than Incognito....if teams believe he can play, he'll find work

So much about the NFL is built on mental toughness. I can't see this report not having a negative effect on J. Martin
Talent + production will trump almost anything in sports

At one point in the report, Ted Wells includes Jonathan Martin’s private list of pros and cons for staying in the National Football League. One reason for leaving was, “I won’t die from CTE” (brain damage). Underneath that was another reason for leaving, “Maybe I’ll start to LIKE myself.” Those two statements, to me, need to be the start of the next discussion we need to have: how the rot in this league extends far beyond Richie Incognito.
