Wait wait wait. Hold the phone.
Are you telling me that not only does this tragic event revolve around irresponsible texting while driving, but also having zero regard for someone else's property?
My goodness. Whenever I have been given the privilege of handling anyone else's property, much less an automobile, I treated that something like it was the most valuable object on earth.
So, this young woman was permitted by her neighbor to take their vehicle a.k.a. something that she does not own or even something that her family owns.
Then, she turns the volume up on the vehicle's stereo really loud--the same stereo that she does not own as well--which may have created a very distracting driving environment in-and-of itself.
Finally, while sitting behind the wheel of a vehicle she doesn't regularly pump gas into or pay insurance premiums for, she thought nothing about taking her eyes of the road, with a passenger riding with her, to text?
You know... with such little regard for her own safety, fellow passenger safety and care for someone else's vehicle... this was probably a tragedy which was destined to happen at some point. It just so happened to her and this particular victim at this point-in-time.
I didn't read this the first go-round.JBond;4515140 said:According to court records:
Gannon was driving a neighbor’s Honda Pilot north in the 12200 block of Northwest Skyview Road when the wreck happened about 3 p.m. Sept. 26.
