He got even slower on what is supposed to be a friendly track compared to the Combine.

No matter what you think about if the time itself matters, the fact he actually got worse might say a good bit about his commitment to getting better.

It is pretty rare you see a player go out and lay an egg twice like that.

That is kinda crazy, I wouldn't even bother having on the board too many WRs in the NFL are much faster than that.

With the CB depth this year, I wonder if this drops him to the third.
Hard to say that definitely.

Were Sidney Jones and Moreau healthy, it absolutely would. But neither is likely to be a lock for the top 64.

Right now, for him to drop out of the seconds, that means Lattimore, White, Conley, King, Jackson, Wilson, Humphrey, Awuzie and Tankersley all more than likely go in the top 64.

There is a drop off once you get past those players.

Plus if the team runs a lot of zone and is fine with having stupid players on their roster, they might decide they can live with the lack of foot speed.

I'm surprised by that, I wouldn't touch him until the 3rd, just to slow for a CB......kid was a player in college

I'd rather not draft him period. We need smart hard working players.

It does make you wonder about his commitment when he has a pro day, where he's in almost complete control of the environment and he seemed unprepared again. I mean in the grand scheme of things, 40 times can be "gamed" in the sense guys will basically train to post a better 40 time. The fact Tabor's 40 time was bad and apparently worse than the combine, makes you wonder what the heck is going on inside that pea sized head of his.

Hard to believe Moreau would drop that far. He may miss part of training camp, but his injury isn't looked upon as a long term concern.

I think a rookie missing part of training camp is a concern. Especially when you are going to count on them to start from day one.

"It is what it is. I mean, it's not going to be my loss if you pass on me," Tabor said, per 247 Sports. "I'm going to be in this league for a long time. Somebody could lose their job if they pass on me, so I ain't mad at it."

"In my heart, I'm a first-round pick, I know I'm a first-round pick," Tabor said. "But, you know, guys slide sometimes. Tom Brady went in the sixth round. Josh Norman, fourth. Richard Sherman, fifth. They're first-round picks, though. They get paid like them. You see a lot of these guys, these top-flight guys who go out here and run 4.3, and they'll be out of the league in four years, you know what I'm saying? I'm in for the long run."

Notice the complete lack of self awareness and even the intellectual capacity to understand he was once regarded as the top corner in this draft as recently as January and now will be fortunate to get drafted in the first two days.

Yo, Teez. Did Richard Sherman or Josh Norman run sub-4.6 twice? Were they or Tom Brady ever regarded as first round picks that "slid"? No.

And if he is in it for the long run, well corners get slower the longer they play.

Slow and stupid - a great combo for a player.

One note though - I can think of two former Florida players who didn't run well at their pro days at The Swamp - Joe Haden and Brandon Spikes - that have gone on to be good to great players.
