He's gonna start dropping............
I don't know what his work ethic is. I donknow he doesn't play like a 4.7 and that he has good instincts/playmaking ability. Why? Is being a slow corner with a poor work ethic a good thing?
I'll give you a hint. He knew that he had to work on his speed and he ran over a 4.7. What does that tell you?I don't know what his work ethic is. I donknow he doesn't play like a 4.7 and that he has good instincts/playmaking ability.

The problem is-he's young, what happens 5 years from now? Anyone think Scandrick can still run a 4.32 40?, answer is no way.To put it in perspective, Aaron Donald posted a 4.69 weighing 285 lbs.
Charles Tapper ran 4.59 at 271 lbs.
I know some folks like to be contrarians ("meh, who cares what he ran, it's about football speed"), but when you have a CB on the outside running mid-4.7s you're asking for trouble.
Slow and stupid - a great combo for a player.
One note though - I can think of two former Florida players who didn't run well at their pro days at The Swamp - Joe Haden and Brandon Spikes - that have gone on to be good to great players.
That he's not that fast track wise
I agree with this. You can't sell Teez as RKG and he doesn't even have elite attributes. Yes, his tape is good, but so was Randy Gregory's. I love his tape. Based on it alone I think he's a steal at 28. I could even get past the pot smoking if he wasn't so clueless and indifferent to the process of becoming a better player. There's no excuse to be slower at your pro day after a poor combine run, especially since he had a couple weeks to work on it.I think the bigger issue he has shown himself to be a complete and utter knucklehead and people have called into question his commitment at times. Guys can literally shave some seconds off their 40 time by just training to run a better time. You see it all the time.
Tabor ran a crud 40 at the combine and didn't work out well to the point he was considered one of the losers of the combine. All he had to do was workout and train for the 40 and he likely would have seen his stock bouy. Instead he runs a worse 40 which absolutely gives some credence to the suggestion the kid a total moron who lacks character and commitment.
I was being facetious above when I said round 6 or 7. I might consider him at 60 or 92. But not at 28. That's way too big a risk.
He's gotten a lot of hype, but it's just a Teez.
I bet the Giants take him so they have somebody to cover Witten.

After having seen Teez Tabor's draft stock fall after his 40 time being slower than expected, do you think it could pay off to look past that and (if available) draft him at No. 28? After all, there is surely no doubt about the talent that is there?
Bryan: I don't think Tabor will be a hard sell if you just study the tape. I remember Terrell Suggs coming out of Arizona State and everyone was freaking out about his 40 time. Top ten player with top ten tape and he turned out pretty good. I am not moving him out of the first round and I don't think they will, either.
David: The thing I keep harping on is that the 28th pick in the draft is basically a second-round pick. With that in mind, I honestly don’t care much about Tabor’s 40 time. He’s got loads of tape of him defending receivers from the best conference in college football. If he’s still there at No. 28, I wouldn’t have any qualms with drafting him.

I laughed. Now I hate you.
