Oh he’s a great fit while being a dog against the run…check him out.
I will check him out, but the way you guys are describing him he seems more like a 2nd rd type of prospect, Le who can kick inside in the nickel

Check out Flus’ draft history though…he does!
I am not worried about our DC, but rather our front office. They might think after resigning Osa, depth behind him will be low cost players like we have seen in the past. In my opinion, they have to draft another Osa type of player, along with a 1T to improve the depth. They are going to a bend don't break scheme and are going to need a deep rotation or they will run out of gas quickly.

I’d be absolutely shocked if he makes it to the 2nd round.

IMO he’s basically the kid from UGA who went 1 overall who didn’t have the big sack numbers.

He’s a traits pick…but he might have the loudest traits in the class.

It doesn't mean he goes in rd 2, but think that type of player will receive a 2nd rd grade. Now we might have less then 15 1st rd grades this yr, so that means he could be a top 25 pick.

Currently 22 on the consensus big board…if a team in the top 20 wants a big bodied Edge that’s a dog against the run he’ll likely be their guy.

Top 25 in this draft seems about right. However, we already have these type of players; DLaw, Kneeland, Golston. Don't think they are going to use a 1st rd at the position, unless they are an elite edge rusher. Player like James Pierce or Green would be more of that type they would target.

Not saying we don't need run defenders, but I know how is front office views 1st rd selections. Must have high level rush abilities to be considered.

Here's an interesting take from Owning about the need for another top level edge. Tons of free agent help on the market......but will we settle for Sam Williams and maybe resign Lawson?

That was needed regardless if he was the DC or not. Most super bowl winners don't blitz their way to a ring. It's 4 man pressure.

Tank and Golston are likely gone and Kneeland’s potential is not on the same planet as Stewarts IMO.

I also like Pearce and Green, but if we traded down and took Stewart I’d have zero concerns.

I think there is a chance that 1 if not 2 return, but also know this front office won't consider a player without elite rush abilities in rd 1.

Don't disagree at all, but you can only do so much in an offseason, especially the way they handle fa.

I guess my point is I think he has elite rush traits…higher ceiling as a pass rusher than anyone on the roster not named Parsons.
