Micah Parsons is great. No question. But it seems to me that his performance drastically tapers off the last quarter of the season. Is he banged up? I realize those guys' bodies take a ton of punishment. Is he gassed? The season is longer than college. Is he immature? He's still a kid, granted a hugely talented kid, but I wonder if that goes to his head too much.

Tell me where I'm wrong and why I'm wrong or just what I'm missing.
Parsons himself pretty much said he was ground down at one point.

It was very clear how gassed Parsons was by the last quarter of the season.

Personally, I think he stunk at MLB with zero impact on inside runs. I’d play him at OLB and let him run to the ball, pursue from the backside, destroy the screens, and blitz.
Either spot. Just get him off the line of scrimmage.

People think that if Parsons isn’t getting sacks, he isn’t impacting the game. That isn’t close to accurate. What he does, and the attention he gets from the offense, opens up all kind of opportunities for the other 10 defensive guys.

By the last part of the season, plenty of teams had seen what Micah does to your offense if you don’t give him a ton of special attention. He wrecks your game plan. So, all teams started doing everything they could to slow him down.

That in itself, created other problems for the offense, that was just the lesser of two evils for them.

Parsons absolutely positively impacted every single game this season. He is unbelievably good and he still has a lot of room to grow. He is still an improving pass rusher.

Dallas is extremely lucky to have that guy.
