Oooh, I'm really under your skin! Now, you're not just being vague about your insults, you're hurling them. Keep teetering on the edge there, buddy.
You are on my ignore list. I don't know how to put it any clearer. Ask somebody who moderates this site. I'm not going to take a screenshot of it.You don't have me on ignore you're full of BS! If you were "ignoring" me it wouldn't matter if I dropped your name you would ignore it. I have complete control over you I even have you copying my posting style. LOL
I also didn't know that this is "your style" as I've seen it across the internet in multiple forums. It's a simple point by point rebuttal.
Ooooh, burn. A teenager's version of, "I know you are, but what am I." Nice. The fact is you don't realize you're delusional...NEXT!
I didn't say that every time he's been beaten this season, it's been because of injury. I don't know how to make THAT any clearer for you, either. The very first article was on Nov 2 that injury doesn't excuse him getting beat Dec 12 against Philly. Are you saying everytime he's been beaten this season it's been because of injury?
Conveniently, you have nothing to back yourself up. This is Exhibit A of a weak argument. What you're saying is completely subjective. It doesn't matter exactly how many times it's been repeatedly. It's been too many times that's why these threads keep popping up. You think these threads keep appearing because he's playing well?...NEXT!
There are also plenty of examples of people retaining much of their athleticism as they age. Darrell Green ran a 4.43 at 50 years old. Using your faulty logic, this PROVES that all players should be able to do something similar. Seriously though, here's where my approach differs. I'm not offering this as proof, but it certainly sheds some doubt on your "aging process" argument. The Cowboys were a much better team last year they owned Philly. An aging players play can drop off big time in one year. I've given you plenty of examples of it and am not about to repeat myself.
He was obviously one of the higher regarded players in the league. He WAS a Pro Bowl player. Enough said.Newman wasn't a legitimate pro bowl player last season he was a replacement for a replacement. Get real...NEXT!
You have ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE as to what constitutes flawed logic. None. The logical fallacies I brought up aren't even debatable. They are simply facts in the realm of debate. Not much different than 1+1=2. You are basically trying to tell everyone that 1+1=8.The only one who's logic is flawed is yours...NEXT!
Jenkins didn't play fine last week. They only decided to pick on Jenkins? Newman had nothing to do with that?He played fine last week because he wasn't tested. The Cardinals are a crap team with a rookie QB....NEXT!
I don't know what to tell you. You wanted an article. I'm sure we aren't ever going to find enough articles to satisfy your requirement, whatever that arbitrary amount is.He said he made a mistake that one week that doesn't excuse Newman for getting beat prior to the injury or weeks after the injury...NEXT!
What point does that prove? It doesn't prove that teams don't play players who are affected by injury. Proof by example(s) (funny, you even used that exact word) is(are) not PROOF of anything. That is a logical fallacy. 1+1=2. Look it up and educate yourself, please, before you embarrass yourself more. Here's a little bit to get you started:Teams don't let injured players play with every injury. There's some injuries where they make them sit and get healthy. Barber had a calf injury and the Cowboys sat him for 2 weeks. RW missed a game there's hundreds of examples where players don't play with certain injuries...NEXT!
http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/proof_by_example
Here's an example for you. Barber played most of 2009 with a torn quad. There are NUMEROUS articles supporting that one. It affected his play. There is proof that it CAN happen. I'd love to hear the rebuttal to this, BTW. Who am I kidding? You'll either disregard it, attack my credibility to distract, or just insert a one-liner followed by, "NEXT", as if you won something.
He LOOKS faster, huh. To your expert, calibrated eye I assume?Scandrick could have taken his place if he was too injured he has 3 years of experience and looks faster than Newman. As for why I'm not on the coaching staff I have a much better gig...NEXT!
Again, Barber. That's just one example. I'm sure I can find more, but I'll wait for your rebuttal before I waste anymore of my time.Common sense which is something you obviously don't have will tell you that a team won't play a player that's too injured to be affective. If a player is too injured to play teams have what are called "backups" who take their place.
Thank you! I'm glad you finally admitted it! They are only "examples", not proof of ANYTHING, which you attempt to use them for. Congrats! Learning is taking place!Even coaches bring other players up as examples. Examples are exactly that "examples."....NEXT!![]()
I'm so glad you are not in the medical field! I'm sure coaches would love to know how a player's condition is based on "your book".Exactly, he played and didn't look limited so in my book he wasn't injured...NEXT!
You are too much!
BTW, how did Barber look last year...you know, in "your book?" HAHAHA!!! I'm literally crying right now!
Thanks, I needed that!Don't dance around this. Yes or no: You believe that by Newman not missing a start, that is PROOF that he is not injured? Those were your words, remember? It applies to alot of players. Players play with injuries all the time but teams won't play a player if they can't be affective with an injury or there's a chance it could linger by not allowing the injury to completely heal. Newman's subpar play this season is because he's in decline.
I know. It's a good thing I'm not diagnosing anything, huh? However, I can have a very educated opinion on things related to musculoskeletal injuries. How about you?You don't know anything in regards to Newman because you haven't examined him...NEXT!
So THAT explains why he shut down one of the fastest receivers in the league THREE games last year...because he was slowing down.He was showing signs of losing quickness 2 years ago his loss of speed and quickness didn't happen over night.
You haven't either. In fact, I'm sure you have very little anatomical or kinesiological information to back even the most basic opinion on this subject.Like I said you haven't examined Newman so save your breath...NEXT!
You're only speculating as well. You state that his decline is because he has aged. When you make an affirmative statement, you must support it with evidence. Appealing to popularity or offering proof by example is hardly support for a position. That is basically all you've done. Heck, if you even had a poll with numbers, that would be some sort of statistical evidence. However, even that would be pretty weak given the overall population of Cowboy fans. You're not sure about anything all you're doing is making excuses and speculating...NEXT!
I've offered that players can still retain great athletic ability even into their 50's, so you really have very little to stand on.
Yawn.If you can't stop responding to me then you have some serious issues. You're the one who's been waging an attack and you're right it is a sign of weakness.
You're incredibly weak you can't even ignore me even though you've tried that's WEAK!
You are "on ignore." I haven't been ignoring because you can't get my name out of your posts...LOL. You can't get me out of your head. How sweet! You claim you have me on ignore but you're still responding to me.You obviously don't know what ignore means. :laugh2:
More inflammatory remarks. How typical of you.Why don't you go to a therapist and talk about Newman. LOL
Find ONE example where you've swayed me! Just one! Of course, you won't be able to as you're just talking out of your backside.I've been swaying you from the very beginning. Like I said earlier I have complete control over you that's why you can't ignore me.
You know what? Forget everything else. Try a little experiment on some of your friends. Present this scenario.
CB "A" allowed a 77.3 QB rating against him in 2009. He went to the Pro Bowl as an alternate. This year, his play has declined. Through 12 weeks, QB's had a rating of 94.1 against him. He did not get selected for the Pro Bowl. He has been on the injury report 40% of the year with a game left to play, including an ankle injury and a rib cartilage injury. He is one year older.
(Keeping in mind that these are all verifiable facts, now ask them this question.)
Is it probable that injuries affected his play?

:laugh2:
