Terence Newman

I called him a liar.

He said he wouldn't respond. He would let the others on the board reply.

I find his comments absolutely amazing. He may be the Art of the Cowboys.
Ouch!

I've been saying it for a long time...Newman is one of the best out there. Unfortunately, with his quiet demeanor, he may never get the attention he deserves simply because there will always be others continually hyping themselves.

I think that all it would take is for him to show his “punt return moves” during an INT return on a Sun or Mon night game and he would get the hype. Heck, I thought the way he ran down Randy Moss was highlight film material.

He also played hurt for a long period last year. What we're seeing is a healthy Newman with a decent supporting cast.

Newman is amazing. He's growing into a rather special player. My favorite play he made this season was still the one he had no business making. Came across to run Randy Moss down from behind.

Corners with that kind of rep will rarely get high interception numbers. It's not all that wise to throw at those guys.

TNew strength's have always been his ability to stay with receivers. His problem in the past is that he didn't know how to use his hands or look back for the ball. A big reason TNew has been successful is because teams are afraid to throw his way due to his coverage ability. They have been picking on Anthony Henry instead. What scares me is when teams decide to start throwing TNew's way again. I hope he doesn't commit the same mistakes he did in the past in which he was stride for stride with the receiver but then he forgot to turn around, time his jump or using his hands to disrupt the pass.

In the last 10 quarter, New man has given up, get this, TWO completions. That is AMZING

Newman allowed two catches for 19 yards today (a 14-yard hook to Shockey and a 5-yard dumpoff to Barber), and he gave up three for 32 yards last week. So your stats are a little off.

But, in the past 13 quarters, Newman has allowed only five catches for 51 yards. And that included games against Randy Moss (no catches against Newman), Terrell Owens (two for 29 against Newman) and Plaxico Burress (no catches against Newman).

For the season, Newman has allowed a total of 14 catches for 161 yards -- or 2.3 catches and 26.8 yards per game. And zero touchdowns.

If Crayton is out, will we see Tnew returning punts?

No, BP said he doesn't want to do that. It'll be Aaron Glenn, Peerless Price or Barber.

I'm not a newman fan by no means, I did not like it when we drafted him and thought we could of got someone better, BUT my hat is off to the guy, he's doing a good job and coming out of last years horrid ways, But I think the experienced that Glenn and Henry brings to the table also helps him lot. SO my hats off to him, its been a long time since we have had solid Conerbacks. Now we need a experienced Safety to hlep RW
