Terence Steele Improving?

Really good from Duke Manyweather video about Steele in the Atlanta game. Despite the criticism he constantly gets, he has been getting better and played a pretty decent game last Sunday. You watch and decide:

Well I said it some time ago, I'm not giving up on him yet. I really liked what I saw when he made the line up. The injury definitely threw him back and he regressed a bit. But I think he has the instincts and natural skills to be a long term starter for this team.

One good game isn't enough of course. Let's see where we stand after the season.

One good thing about the implosion of this team is, we won't have anything to lose, they can try out a lot and basically just prepare for 25 without any pressure. The o line can gel. Maybe they should take out Martin and see what Bass can do.

(Yes I know, technically where not out of the play off race yet but if we lose against the Eagles I'd go into full "2025 prep mode")

If his salary wasn’t a factor his play would be a lot more palatable and I think that’s what a lot of people take issue with. Not his fault anyone would’ve took the money

I’ve seen plays where the Edge isn’t even touched and goes around Steele . This is a classic example of “ what problem he’s just fine “ fill in the blank of the player .

The problem has been the coach, not the players.

I think he is pretty bad right now and is an absolute liability in pass protection. He has bad technique coupled with average feet and zero quickness.

You have to take into consideration that Atl has the WORST Rushing Defense.

I respect Duke's opinion obviously, but Atlanta's edge rushers are probably no better than what Dallas is starting right now.

They had only 6 sacks going into the game, got 2 more against Dallas. So yes, the worst pass rushing team in the league.
