“It’s my job to be ready no matter if it’s toward the end of the game, the beginning of the game or the last pass,”

"I have to be ready. There are no excuses for dropping passes or stuff like that. I have to cash in on my chances because you have guys depending on me. Whether it’s the last quarter, the last minute or the last second you have to fight throughout the whole game."

But but but, it's weeden's fault.

Some fans are in denial make excuses for the guy, a guy who won't even defend himself. He knows he's a lame duck.

2nd time, he's said he has to be better, during the off season(talking about taking plays off) and now this.

We just need to move on from dude.

First of all... Thanks TWill for telling us what we already know. A little less Invasion Of The Body Snatchers action will serve you well.

Secondly, we must embrace him. If he can get over this mental hump, it will serve us very well over the course of the season. In other words, we need him to get over this self realization crap to find success as a team. He can stretch the field like no other on this team (with the exception of Brice who is still a relative unknown).

Williams had 1 drop and that was on the last drive.

Yes, there is strong evidence that this game was indeed on Weeden.

Here was Weeden's decision on 2nd and 26. Witten is open and is directly in the same line of sight as Dunbar but Weeden dumps it off to Dunbar. This happened over and over throughout the game. If you watch the All-22, there were open receivers on intermediate and deep routes but Weeden won't or can't get the ball to them.

This happen on the majority of pass plays but you somehow blame T. Williams for 1 drop at the very end of the game.

Apparently you're one of the only guys around not to see the game review video floating around. Watch the video, and then get back to us.

I'm not the only one blaming T-Will. More than a handful of posters share my opinion. Hell even T-Will said it himself.

If the man himself says it, I don't know what more proof you need.

Bet you don't know how many drops twill actually had last year or how many he has this year
A little hint, not near as many as some think

Who cares about the drops, its the non plays he make.

And not every drop gets recorded. You can watch the game and see he's behaving like a bum

From what I've read, he expressed frustration that they didn't throw to the WRs more.

Non plays? Weeden was not throwing the ball to anyone past about 10 yards or near the sidelines which is where most of Williams' and Butler's routes took them.

Looks to me like he is just like most other second wr's in the league other than he scores more than most

It appears lots of fans care because the drops is what keeps getting brought up

Yeah let's just ignore all the plays that Williams or Butler or couldn't win. Yeah Weeden didn't hit them when they were open, but it's not like they were open the entire game. I'm not sure exactly what people are expecting from this guy. He's gonna miss throws just like any backup quarterback would, but blaming this game on him when the receivers couldn't get open consistently, the OL couldn't open up many holes in the second half, and the defense couldn't stop a nose bleed I mean I just don't understand how people can sit and there and act like Weeden was why Dallas lost when there were so many others factors.

And Jay Novocek, he of the aluminum roofing empire, half retired from doing dumb TV commercials. I bet we could get him if Jerra agree to roof his stadium with aluminum roofing.
Well, that ain't happening. Jerry Jones knows from experience that aluminum roofing covers thermal exhaust ports poorly. One X-wing fighter swoops in and POOF! Another Jones Death Star bites the dust. Here's video of what happened after the last roofing job:

A WR isn't going to beat their corner routinely. Williams was paired up against Trufant, for those who haven't been paying attention, he's becoming one of the better corners in the league.

You are reaching to defend Weeden. The guy missed open receivers on crucial drives, end of story.
