When TW backed Romo over Dak I wrote that TW is no guage.
Now Scooter is seemingly endorsing Dak.
I am sure tha Mamathon is over the moon tha some ex-player likes Dak.

He wasn't last year. In addition to his ability as a runner, Hurts completed 66.5 percent of his passes for 4,280 yards and 25 TDs, with only 6 ints. (He rushed for 903 yards and 18 TDs.) About the only thing he did poorly was having 11 fumbles.

Prescott's completion percentage was slightly higher at 66.6, but he threw for fewer yards (3,371), slightly more TDs (28) and quite a bit more ints. (17). (He added 228 rushing yards, 2 TDs, 4 fumbles.)

Doesn't mean Hurts will be the better QB this year, but it would be difficult to justify saying Dak was better last year. And that's not meant to bash Dak, just to say I think there's a tendency to downplay how well Hurts played. I expected him to just continue being a good running QB who wasn't really much of a threat as a passer. That wasn't the case. Hopefully, it is this year, though.

Prescott is a better passer and Hurts is a better runner. Edge goes to Hurts because he's played in a SB.

He literally had to say this to squash the heat he was getting from the “Romo better than Dak” comments and most importantly was able to get back in the good graces of the “ community“

like I said in the other thread, it’s just 1 opinion among millions…..but we all know why he had to right his “wrong”

anybody with eyes can see that Hurts is progressing while Rayne is regressing

How? He literally said it in the same interview lol. He said this at the same time he said the Romo stuff all while he was driving in his car lol.

In a game with the Cowboys, he is a threat at both passing and running. Their offense is wide open. Their receivers are a top shelf group and I respect abilities in the running game. Dallas has to dominate the center area on defense. They can, but we'll see.

Oh, I stand corrected…..thought he said it a day later

so that means that Romo is better than Hurts?…..according to his logic

lets get him out the boof and back on the field, lol

Dak is the better passer, that is what he is saying. Which he is. Dak missed 5.5 games last year. How many did Hurts miss?

Hurts had a much better team around him than dak did. Much better coaching.

LOL.........yah right. That is the typical QB challenged excuse.

Dak has been doing this for 7 years. Hurts was surrounded by arguably one of the best supporting casts in NFL history. Certainly in the NFL last year. When Hurts played SF, Purdy went down in the 1st quarter and hurts basically handed the ball off to a win.

He did play great in the SB, but ultimately lost the game for them with a fumble for a TD.
