You are the master of that, so I'll leave that up to you. I presented their stats, which favored Hurts as a passer last year. Maybe in your rush to overdefend Dak, you just don't want to see it, but anyone who is objective can see that Hurts was the better QB last year, the better passer last year and the better runner.
Yes, he also had the better team, but we don't judge QBs based on who has the better team because we don't have empirical evidence of what another QB would have done in that same situation. We can speculate, but that's all it is. By any objective standard, Hurts was better last year. If it makes you feel better, Dak was better the year before.
When you have the #1 oline, incredible weapons, the best run game in the NFL surrounding your QB he is going to put up great stats. Doesnt mean he was the better passer. Dak working with much less.
And despite your cherry picking passing stats, here are all the big ones with number of games played
Hurts Passing stats: 15 games, 66.5%, 3701, 22 TD's, 6 picks,
Dak passing stats: 11.5 games, 66.2%, 2860, 23 TD's, 15 picks
I would say those stats are very similar considering Dak played in 3.5 less games. More TD's, more picks, less yards.
Now you want to add in rushing stats for both QB's and tell me that Hurts had a better year as a QB then you will get no argument from me at all.
