Anyone who thinks Hurts lost that game needs to reread Football for Dummies
LOL........right, but Dak lost the game with two picks in the first half and the score tied 9-9 at the half?

Football for dummies indeed.

The fumble for a TD was where that game turned. Did he lose it for them? No, not that one play. But it was a big one.

So you agree Hurts didn’t lose the game, which contradicts your earlier post. Who said anything about Dak?

Dak is the better passer, that is what he is saying. Which he is. Dak missed 5.5 games last year. How many did Hurts miss?

Hurts had a much better team around him than dak did. Much better coaching.
Dak wasn't the better passer last year, though. Their completion percentages were pretty much the same, while Dak almost tripled Hurts in interceptions despite playing almost six fewer games.

Team and coaching obviously can play a role, which is why Hurts may not be the better QB this year. Other than Lamb, Dak had worse receivers overall to throw to, and some of those receivers caused some of his interceptions.

I just don't think based off last season, we can say that Dak was the better passer. He was the previous year, but not last year.

Move the goal posts and cherry pick all you want. Dak is the better passer. And we already know that Hurts had much more to work with and a better line. So no he wasn the better passer. He just had much better players around him.

Naw its all the same interview he said a lot of stuff but of course the Romo and Dak stuff made top priority first lol. I follow Law so that's really the only reason I know.
The Romo and Dak stuff fits the agenda of Dak sucks folks.
the Dak is better Hurts part doesn’t so that was conveniently left out

This whole Dak and Romo argument is pointless but it won’t end till Dak retires

Now the hurts and Dak argument is interesting because both of them excelled when their teams were good

It’s all gonna come down to whose team is built best and who makes fewest mistakes. That Philly team was and is built well

I think we gained on them this year but we’re gonna need to beat SF.

From the 70’s through 1994, the Cowboys met the 49ers 6 times in the NFC Championship game. The Cowboys won 4 of 6.

Amazing how an 8 year QB is better than a QB who is in year 3.., even I said Dak was better than Hurts after his second year, but what Hurts did in year 3 including his performance in the SB, shows he isn’t a mental midget like Dak and he surprised.. They both are over-rated.. but Hurts at least showed improvement and has better mechanics and doesn’t need to take 30 seconds to wind up and throw the ball

You are the master of that, so I'll leave that up to you. I presented their stats, which favored Hurts as a passer last year. Maybe in your rush to overdefend Dak, you just don't want to see it, but anyone who is objective can see that Hurts was the better QB last year, the better passer last year and the better runner.

Yes, he also had the better team, but we don't judge QBs based on who has the better team because we don't have empirical evidence of what another QB would have done in that same situation. We can speculate, but that's all it is. By any objective standard, Hurts was better last year. If it makes you feel better, Dak was better the year before.

When you have the #1 oline, incredible weapons, the best run game in the NFL surrounding your QB he is going to put up great stats. Doesnt mean he was the better passer. Dak working with much less.

And despite your cherry picking passing stats, here are all the big ones with number of games played

Hurts Passing stats: 15 games, 66.5%, 3701, 22 TD's, 6 picks,

Dak passing stats: 11.5 games, 66.2%, 2860, 23 TD's, 15 picks

I would say those stats are very similar considering Dak played in 3.5 less games. More TD's, more picks, less yards.

Now you want to add in rushing stats for both QB's and tell me that Hurts had a better year as a QB then you will get no argument from me at all.

Overall the nod has to goto Hurts with the running and everything. Even with the better team around him, it was a great year.

Passing the stats were very similar considering Dak played in less games. And no doubt the clean pocket, clean run game, and better weapons and offense made things much easier for Hurts when passing the ball.

But whatever. Hurts had the better year as a QB no question.
