I'm really excited to see if he can develop into a big play threat like he was in college.

If he is anything like Josh Gordon then he should help us out a lot.

He'll see mostly single coverage all season long as well.

I'm disappointed in his preseason performance but hopefully the big plays are coming.

He isn't the superior athlete he was in college. He has a lot of work to do.

The guy has a knack for catching the ball over his shoulder while running full-speed down the field. Not every WR is good at that, and he is.

There is no reason why he shouldn't develop into a good outside receiver. Will all the attention that Dez, Austin and Witten are going to be getting, he surely will have a lot of opportunities to do well.

I think he'll be a big play threat but I worry about his all around game.

Harper wasn't the best all around receiver and he was a great role player for us though.

I was a little disappointed in how raw he looked in the preseason but hopefully he starts exploding off the line and becomes a downfield option.

The upside of Terrance Williams' game is off the charts IMO. Provided they stay healthy there is a lot to like in our WR corps.

Actually, there is. Put him on ignore.

I'm sorry I had you on ignore. I didn't hear what you said. jk

It messes up the flow of the conversation when you have several people on ignore. Maybe I should try again.

Based on what? Speed? He is as weak as a newborn kitten. He broke *zero* tackles in college.

Wasted pick, IMO.

Just think, if Romo had got the ball to him against Arizona, it would've been six. And just that one play would've changed the perception of him for many fans.

If Romo had hit him a couple of times when he was running free in the preseason, he might have more buzz.

He doesn't have nearly the physical ability Gordon does. Gordon has that near-freaky size and speed combo. But Williams can be pretty darn good (and has no character questions).

My favorite parts of that vid are at 1:39 and 2:19. Nobody talks about those tough catches right on the boundary, but he's really good at catching those and keeping his feet in bounds.

He was drafted to stretch the field and take the top off the defense. I think he will have very productive career doing this as the no. 2 receiver.

Josh Gordon? His ceiling is MUCH higher than that IMO

I agree but Gordons problems are from the neck up. He'll either be a millionaire or out of the league in a few years, no in between.

I see Williams as an example of people looking too deeply into drafting. He did much better in college than Gordon, and a guy that leads the Big 12 in TDs should not be drafted in the third. That's first round talent in my eyes.

And if you want to play the sloppy technique card, that should only attest to Williams' ability, if he could put up such sick numbers with some alligator arms, a little bit of coaching can only improve his play.

I'm pretty sure he led Div I in yardage and big plays (over 20 or 40 yards)

It took Miles Austin several years to get his chance to show what he could do, so I guess Williams can wait at least until he plays his first real NFL game to show us what he's got. If he runs his routes and gets open, our offense is going to be very hard to stop.
