I'm not a stat guy but I've been concerned how at times the passing game disappeared last year, specifically Terrance Williams. If every team is so concerned with Dez, then Williams should feast. Maybe it was too much to hope for last year with Williams being a rookie, but I'm glad to see him have a game like he did against the Saints. If teams are going to try to contain both Murray and Dez then Romo and Williams need to make them pay.

Our offense has been pick your poison to lose by... Get destroyed on the ground with Murray.... Dez over the top.... or Twill slanting across the field getting huge gains

and lets not forget ol' faithful in Witten.

Terence Williams had an awesome rookie year.

I think he has as good a year or better this year.

You want to double Dez? I have no problem with that because I feel very good about TWill on the other side. These 2 WR's are going to be a pain for defenses to handle for years.

You don't think he had a good rookie year?

Like I said, I'm not a stat guy, and I may expectations may have been too great for a rookie. I think I've seen a thread where his rookie year stacks up well against some all time greats. I just feel he disappeared in certain situations/games. The impact he had against the Saints is what I'd like to see from him in every game if teams continue to focus on Murray, Bryant and Witten.

He needs some work attacking the ball, instead of letting it come to him. He runs good routes and seems to be pretty reliable. I don't know what more you want from the guy.

TW is a good #2. His success really isn't about being a great player. It is about being a decent WR who is going to get many very favorable matchups because of the attention paid to Dez. Enjoy him while you can. He'll leave via FA for #1 money.

This. He needs to work on attacking the the football. Beyond that though, I'm thoroughly impressed.

Did you ever get to see our best #2 receiver, Alvin Harper play? Do you know his best season he had with the Cowboys was 821 yards, granted huge YPCs but thats it. #2 receivers generally dont break 1000 yards unless its a extremely heavy pass oriented offense. I think Terrance Williams had an outstanding rookie season. This aint Madden.

And then you have the guys who fall through the coverage cracks like Beasley and Harris. They're not star players but both can have a big game at any time.

It was nice to see him make a bigger impact because it helps create confidence in him and in Romo being willing to look for him and it also makes it harder on teams to double Dez, which was one of my main concerns with Williams becoming a full-time starter ... could he take advantage of going one-on-one with a starting corner?

Eh... I'm not saying Williams is some kind of great NFL talent, but this is a guy who was unanimous first-team All America and led the entire nation with over 1800 yards receiving his senior year in a major conference... He's a talented player, not just a replacement level type of player who is *only* doing anything because of Dez.

IOW, I'm not surprised he can get open one-on-one. If anything, I wonder if we don't underappreciate his ability because the guy on the other side is such a freaky talent.

go look at his rookie year compared to dez. yes, he had a very good rookie year
it's a tough position for rookies. they don't learn a whle lot about coverage in collage but he is really turning into a good player
