Terrell McClain to I.R.

Ben Gardner, Ben Bass, anybody named Ben.

Paging Mr. Gardner.

At this rate, we will need to go back to players playing both ways.. might only have like 25 or 26 players by the bye.

Funny it's labeled as 'Breaking News'.

It really isn't.

'Here we go again' is a more fitting headline.
;)

McClain played a lot of 1tech so Bishop might get the nod but with them already short at DE Russell would make sense because he can play DE or DT.

I thought he would have been active this past week with no Gregory or Hardy, but even then he was inactive. They're running out of defensive linemen to play in front of him.

If you play for the Dallas Cowboys and are wondering what to wear tonight, the best advice is probably bubble wrap.

The Cowboys have suffered yet another big injury. According to Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, defensive tackle Terrell McClain is out for the season with a badly sprained big toe.

The former Panthers third-rounder had filled in well enough there last year, playing in 13 games.

And while his absence might not rank up there with players such Tony Romo or Dez Bryant, it’s yet another hit for a team that can’t afford many more.

This is getting downright ridiculous.

Can anyone remember a year in which we've suffered so many players missing so much time so soon in the season?

Every team has adversity. We got hit hard but I prefer to wait and see as opposed to fret and panic.

The OL is still intact and Hardy and McClain come back in two weeks for a defense that is playing at a very high level. It's not all bad for all your fearmongering.

Fret and Panic? Discussing reality is hardly panicking.

There is no question that the D is going to have to lead us through the next 10 weeks until Romo returns. I would certainly be much more confident if the brass had not thought that McChicken was the answer at RB along with Randle. If we had a stud RB and run game to lean on, this would be much easier to digest.

But it seems that the brass enjoys learning from major mistakes. Maybe they will go out and find a real RB next year instead of trying to prove everyone wrong. And maybe after 2 back surgeries and 2 broken collar bones in 5 years, they might get the hint that using a high pick to groom a young QB is not such a bad idea going forward. If we go QB and RB with our first two picks next year I wouldnt be disappointed.

Your guess is as good as mine, that's why they play the games. All you can do is set your roster up as deep as you can and then roll with it. But I still like our chances in the NFCE, if that's what you're asking.

If that D gets healthy and its suspensions back, I would have to agree on the NFC East thing. Although its more about the other 3 teams then Dallas.

And it certainly will have nothing to do with the decisions that the brass made at the RB position and their failure to address the QB position in the draft the last 6 years.
I look forward to your undying defense of their position.

Meh. It's too early in the day to get into this, but I was saying the lack of action at backup QB was a bigger shortcoming than what we did at RB this offseason back when you were still making your ridiculous guesses as to what Jason Garrett actually does as head coach.

Don't confuse the fact that I don't just make up criticisms to get negative attention with the idea that I'm not capable of criticizing.

Really?.........because you just went out of your way to criticize me, off topic, even though you agree with my point about the QB.

So tell me..........who is to blame for not properly addressing the backup QB position in Dallas?

WTH? I thought he missed the entire season...

No, but he played though and injury that limited him. He was really starting to come on at one point after recovering from a training camp injury and then got injured again.

Obvious bias is boring. You have anything else or is this the entire schtick?

I didn't go that far out of my way. And you deserve it for publicly believing such silliness. It's not my job to protect you from your own opinions.

If Weeden can't play, the entire organization is to blame for not backing up the QB position better. Including the HC. That's pretty obvious, isn't it?

On whose behalf are we blaming? You seem to not understand that many people do not think in terms of fault and blame. I for one do not when it comes to sports teams.

What do you even mean by properly anyway? They had Orton. He decided he liked to drink at games and his heart wasn't in it. They signed failed first round starter Weeden to groom him. He hasn't been all bad as much as your bias would have us believe otherwise. They traded for Cassell yesterday.

I realize you're trolling but the sentiment you are going for has a disconnect in what you think the normal NFL backup looks like. You want Sanchez, Cousins, or Mallet? Perhaps McGloin, Anderson, or Renfree was more of what you had in mind?

You really don't have any relative clue. Instead you parrot every negative connotation and uncertainty you can think of. Dance, monkey, dance.
