And Owens isn't the best? The HOF is a total joke.

Lot of people in here either born after 1994, or still sour about standing over the star.

Though I highly doubt most Cowboys fans watched his games in any other uniform besides Dallas'

He wasn't Jerry Rice, Randy Moss good. When it came to thinking just about himself over his teammates, he has no peer however.

And don't think that's not part of the reason he is struggling to get in. It is why his induction is being delayed.

But he will get in at some point.

"Randy Moss good" - he was a different breed, a post runner. He did this greatly, he never became that brilliant route runner. Owens was a possession receiver, both best at what they did.

And Randy Moss was a piece of crap. Yeah, Owens was a me player. But do not ever tell me he's not a "Moss" when Moss put down a family owned food chain straight to their face in the locker room which got him kicked off the Vikings team during his second stint. He's garbage and was a quitter.

If Moss' nonsense can be overlooked, so can Owens. You induct people on how they performed, not tabloid fodder.

Also, what the heck was Irvin? He started the WR diva crap. Injured a teammate. Was a "me" player. Druggy. Do we still glorify the 90s Cowboys?

Obviously but stats don't lie and no one is close to what this guy has done.
No one?

Marvin Harrison has similar stats and he didn't make it until the third ballot. Cris Carter didn't make it till the 6th ballot.

Seriously.

I'll never forget the "I play when I want to" comments from Moss.

Moss was smart though. He made sure to be good to the media in his later years and now working with ESPN, he's definitely getting in first ballot

TO may not be a great human being May have not been a good teammate sometimes, but that is irrelevant for the HOF. It's egregious that he's not in and is a reason why these unathletic mediots with their obvious biases shouldn't be voting for it.

Jerry getting in is laughable. HOF is losing it's luster.

Jerry is in for being a contributer.

"Almost from the beginning, Jones challenged the NFL establishment in its business dealings, first with television negotiations and later with marketing deals. He has helped turn the NFL into one of the most profitable ventures in the world. Forbes named the Cowboys the most valuable sports franchise in the world at more than $4 billion."
