And he wasn't?

He is arguably top 10-15 at the position, to some, top 5. He is "best of the best"

yet teams once getting to see him up close kept sending him away.

Michael Irvin could stab a guy, and his team still wanted to keep him.

i think its hilarious. owens is a **** human being and karma is biting him. of course his numbers are HOF worthy, but his attitude and overall image sucked and its killing him now.

eagle fans cant even get their beloved b dawk into the hall of fame :lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:
LT was as crappy as it gets as a person!! Nuff said!! HOF though...

Uh, our team was dysfunctional in the 90s, especially after Jimmy left. You're talking about 3 years of decent discipline.

Of course teammates then didn't want Irvin gone, they were just as bad.

Terrell Owens certainly isn't the 1st player who committed sins of being a force for dissention in the past and has been made to wait indefinitely for HOF inclusion. It's hard to say if he'll ever be accepted for that honor or not but he only has himself to blame if it's not to be. The passing of time might cause at least some measure of forgiveness for his past actions but it's just anyone's guess if it helps his cause for HOF acceptance. Perhaps it's simply fate's way of forcing him to do penance until those who vote see fit to forgive and forget.
