In this case, as often experienced with anything regarding TO, a BS messenger... Ratings must be dipping.

I read a breaking news crawler across the bottom of BSPNNEWS as if it was some huge breaking story.... then after the sensationalism had passed the last line mentioned how he passed the test and, for the record, has never failed a test... DUH...:cop:

To be fair, it's the top story on ESPN.com, but it's not part of their Breaking News header.

Looking at espnnews, there's no breaking news lead on the bottomline that I see right now referring to T.O.

I really don't see this being blown up like normal.

Today, he's getting the right amount of pub for a high profile player. The issue with ESPN and other media outlets will be how much continued coverage it will garner in the next few days.

He actually said 58% passer rating, which of course makes no sense. Makes even less sense considering Campbell had a 77 passer rating. His completion percentage sits at 57.7% for his career and 60% for last season.

NFL players have the money to go places that make it unlikely that the NFL can get communication through or can get a tester there in a timely manner. ndanger mention Fiji and Africa, I can think of Canadian lakes, the Rockies, the Grand Canyon, fishing boats in the Gulf, Tony in Mexico. Is it the responsibilty of the player to come back within 24 hours or does a tester have to climb half way up Mt. Everest to get a sample?
