Never understood it the first time we waived him (2014?). But didn't we go over this last year and drew the conclusions that he just doesn't do well with coaching or something like that? I don't know, but I'd rather have a knucklehead that can play than a choirboy who can't (lookin' at you, Leon McFadden).

What do you mean hindsight? A lot of us were perplexed when he was cut both times.

We have cycled so many corners in and out yearly that haven't worked out for whatever reason...I mean just because he had a decent game on a national stage people will be questioning why he's not still here.

He made more of an impact tonight than he ever did in a Dallas jersey lol...hindsight.

I was wondering why Sendejo looked familiar last Thursday.

Good for him.

With Mitchell wasn't there something off the field related to attitude? That said, this staff definitely has favorites and dog house players, and the reasons for either aren't always obvious.

There are many Dallas rejects that has done well for themselves on other teams.

Andrew Sendejo
Erik Walden
Nick Folk
T. Newman
Marty B.

etc..

You win some, you lose some.

Newman is a horrible example. He was a great player, he earned a second contracts but he had a bad season and lost his confidence(same goes with Folk) and he needed a change of scenery. We got the best years of Newman's career.

Yes. I believe he was late/missed meeetings. Repeatedly. Someone else probably remembers exactly, but I know there were some "character concerns". I think he was slow too--maybe bad measurables

All this really means is that Jerry's scouting crew has improved dramatically over the last 5 years or so. You're going to loose some, I.e salary cap 53 man roster limitations etc. Good evaluation of talent is why we're young and up and coming.
