Terrence Mitchell

With our present db's coach, all the secondary has taken a step up. Have to figure T.Mitchell would'v quicker also....but, thats just the way it shakes out. Move on from here

Newman is a horrible example. He was a great player, he earned a second contracts but he had a bad season and lost his confidence(same goes with Folk) and he needed a change of scenery. We got the best years of Newman's career.

Why are you saying it's a bad example? He wasn't wanted here because he wasn't playing well here. Yet he goes to another team and did well.

There are many Dallas rejects that has done well for themselves on other teams.

Andrew Sendejo
Erik Walden
Nick Folk
T. Newman
Marty B.

etc..

You win some, you lose some.

Missed on Sendejo for sure. Thought Mitchell was good for the Cowboys.

Because Mo and Oscan are better from the sidelines, welp.

He was still a good player when we let him go. He just needed a change of scenery. He had a bad season his last year here, Newman even admitted that last week. The

I would say corners and kickers sometimes need a change of scenery because their position rely on confidence as much as skill.

Small sample size. Chiefs corners opposite Peters have been getting torched all season long.

Wasn't playing well on pro bowl level I'm guessing. Playing well overall, that's subjective.

14 games - 53 tackles, 4 ints.

We needed a good old Rueage thread.

Get our heads right for the game on Sunday.................

The point is he wasn't a good player for us at the time we let him go. That was evident the last season he played for us.

Again, good as in a pro bowl level player, no. 53 tackles and 4 ints in 14 games. If that wasn't good per say, then what would the stats have to be for him to stay? 70+ tackles, 5-6 ints?

I was thinking the same thing about Tyler Patmon. He had a pick six and we NEVER see that on this team. Olatoye. I thought he played ok. They get rid of guys that actually hold onto the football. Jeff Heath led the team with interceptions last year and he got them in the same game. Pathetic. The defensive backs are allergic to the football. It's so frustrating

Why did we cut this guy again?
He was released on June 10th. When a player with any potential at all is cut at that time of year, it is almost always due to some behavioral problems. The roster limit at the time of year is 90. There is no way it was a talent issue when the roster is at 90.

Believe he was hurt before camp and that was the reason he was cut. He opened OTA's as our nickleback and back up FS.
