run on 3rd, pound it in on 4th.

only a dope would think we'd have a shot at 11 points and a stop. get a clue guys.

on the defensive side the coverage calls and complete neglect of the slot was embarrasing.

The play-calling is one thing. It's always easy to second guess with the benefit of hindsight. But we needed to go for it on 4th and goal. That FG call was a cop-out.

I don't necessarily agree that the coaching was terrible, but i do agree with your criticism o the two plays you highlight here.

If you're planning to kick it on 4th, then don't let your 3rd down play be a fade to Hurd.

Tony has just no touch on those fades, he's accurate because he can zip the ball, they just need to take that play out of the playbook for awhile, seriously, they need to put Deon Anderson on some routes out of the flat, or re-sign Jeff Robinson, he was money in the red-zone

second guess? i was screaming at the TV on 3rd when they didn't stuff it right in with Barber for the TD.

it's pathetic the staff had no vision or clue to realize a FG was absolutely worthless (unless they were hoping for a fumbled kickoff or something involving dumb luck).

Way to over react there fellas. We are 5-1. We lost to maybe the best team in the league. A team that has won championships. I mean, we were in the game. It's not like we just totally got smoked. We could not stop the Pats with a defense as gased as ours but hey, it wouldn't have mattered had we gone for a TD or not. We could not stop them in the 4th. It's not that big of a game changing decision IMO.

But yeah, our defense sucks. Everything sucks. Next week, we will win and everything will be all better.

Uhhh, we pretty much got smoked. 48 points, 5 TDs, 12 penalties.....Stunk it up. Now, I thought we pretty much shut down their run, but our secondary stinks and everyone knows it. Aside from Newman and Hamlin...everyone else looked like they were giving EVERYTHING underneath. P**s poor secondary performance. Better patch up the holes or get laughed at again in the copy cat league.

Both those calls left me scratching my head. Though Hurd was pushed after the ball was in the air and of coarse no call. I just dont see what good a FG is there given the way the Pats had moved that ball at will all game.

If you think the DC was bad today you are dreaming. The D almost played well. They are still tackling poorly but the Pats didn't run away with the game untill the 4th quarter after we didn't go for it on 4th and 5 to go. That was an O call BTW.
