i never understood the Callahan love that he has received in Dallas. He coached an offensive live that set record lows for rushing in the team's history and he gets a promotion. It's not supposed to work like that. If I was shopping for an OC, Callahan wouldn't have been in the top fifty on my list. I guess his next promotion will be to head coach.

Because Garrett is awful and we needed at least average... It's not Callahan love, it's tired of Garrett...

“I’m extremely disappointed in what I saw in Dallas,” he said after the Cowboys dropped a 17-16 decision to the Chiefs. “I have a feeling we are going to see the up and down of the Cowboys. That’s just the way it’s going to be.”

Earlier Bradshaw unloaded on Cowboys offensive coordinator Bill Callahan, who has assumed play-calling responsibility from Jason Garrett. Keep in mind you rarely hear NFL TV voices slice and dice head coaches let alone question coordinators.

“Same old weak junk we saw in Oakland,” Bradshaw said, referring to Callahan’s days with the Raiders. “It drives me up a wall, five-yard out routes, five-yard drag routes. You have to take chances. You can’t keep running this short dinky offense.”

He nailed it. Case and point was not going to Dez for an end zone fade and instead trying to dump it to Williams behind the line of scrimmage.

Problem is, the Chiefs D DID NOT play a great game. Our O was so predictable and pathetic that it made it look like the Chiefs were defensive juggernaut. We were so predictable that they knew exactly what was coming.

Ray Lewis said this how many years ago? He basically said they knew what we were going to run before we snapped the ball. Nothing has changed

I would rather be average or bad with someone young and innovative, not this fossil....

It is Callahans play calling or Romo's audibles out of the original call?

There's some truth to some degree in what Bradshaw is saying.

I'm sure you realize the play groupings per play are fairly common. You have to match your personel grouping. You are limited to how muc you can change.

I do know the deep route that Dez dropped was an audible. But I think Dez catches that 9 out 10 times.

From the middle of 3rd period on, Romo had issues with those ribs. It was very clear. He was not the same player.

By next week, he should be off the pain shots.
They need to adjust the game plan further, because I promise that Dallas will not be favored in 2 of the next 3 games.

Precisely what it was for me. Garrett's system is garbage but his play calling is that much worse. Had to be better right? Maybe not but if he falls flat again he is gone.

he is so right, his offense take no chances and its very boring to watch... very similar to a west coast dink and dunk, don't like what i see after two weeks. It looks like the same crap we have been dealing with for the last two years, and i had high hopes for this team

That's the philosophy that got you Garrett--or at least JJ's distorted interpretation of that philosophy.

We need to travel back to 2007 and press repeat on offense. Just limit the turnovers and air it out to Dez and Miles instead of Owens and Miles.

Yea, I see what you are saying, I guess I would rather have someone who is CLEARLY innovative, although they don't grow on tress.

You mean Owens and Crayton?

The offense looks very similar to recent years. Don't know who to blame, realistically, but I do know that I don't like watching it!
