I voted he won't play, but even if he does i know one thing, there is no way we should be depending on him. Gotta try and make that vet trade happen.

My heart tells me he will be able to contribute. My head tells me he won't.

I think he will try and go through training camp but would not be suprised to see him retire before camp is over.

:starspin I agree. I think Glenn will try to make it through camp, but I feel that the injury will catch up with him and cause him to retire.

I think he makes a comeback, stays at #2 for the first few games, under performs before he gets re-injured. Hobbles through part of the season before ending up on injured reserve and having to be cut at the end of the season.

I highly doubt he'll come out and say, "I retire." at any point this year. Not when there's money to be made.

He'll either have to be cut or he'll remain a Cowboy and collect those checks.

i think we'll keep him mostly for $ reasons. but i do see him falling down on the charts, as he should, to show we're not going to depend on him. if he can stick around and contribute, great. if not, great. but at his age and injuries in his career, i'd put him at the bottom of the stack and call what we get out of him gravy.

I'm really torn here because I don't know the severity of the injury, and I recall Jerry and Wade promising that he's ready to go and he'll make an impact - granted, they were probably blowing smoke to give the G-Men something to worry about.

However, if Terry can come back and provide us another offensive threat - we are going to give opposing defenses a fit next year. He was arguably our # 1 guy in 06, one can only wish.

Unless a Wide-out is obtained via trade, Glenn will be the third receiver this year, occasionally number two. He will be used with caution during training camp and during the season so that he can come in and provide a deep threat.

I voted that he would be the #2 next to T.O. That's how I think the season (atleast OTAs and TC) will start unless a trade is made for a WR vet. I'm not convinced, however, that Glenn will end up there once the season rolls around.

Glenn's age and the nature of his injury is just not a situation that we want to have to depend on. If we trade for a WR, I believe Glenn will be cut. His salary just won't warrant his presence. Crayton is coming along and there's no need to hamper the progress of guys like Hurd, Stanback, or Austin in the hopes that Glenn can find a way to contribute.

You never can tell with Jones, though. It's no secret that he thinks this is the Cowboys' year. If he feels that Glenn is worth 400 yards and 2 TDs he may pony up just to make sure that the guns are loaded. Tough to say, but I'm thinking Glenn will be gone by week one.

I think he'll be released and then retire, as he should. He needs to spend his future with his family relatively pain free.

I think he start at #2, at the start of the season, but play limited reps. Then as the season progresses, and other players improve. He sees less time, but possibly still starts. Keep him more fresh for the playoff run.

What?!?! Terry Glenn had over 1000 yards receiving just 2 years ago! He was Waaaaaaaay better than TO then. You are crazy Glenn is the best WR option we have. We could easily trade him to the Raiders plus one of our first round picks for McFadden....he's that good. Or we could trade him skrait up for Roy Williams!!!!!1!!!

Oh yeah, I was being sarcastic....

Depends. Do we acquire a veteran WR like Williams? If we do, then I believe we'll cut Glenn.

If we don't, I believe Jerry will give Glenn every opportunity to come back.
