Terry Glenn was supposed to be on Sirius Radio today-11/14/07...

Just imagine the offensive domination :omg:

and TG was our best receiver last year

you know what I hate about this....why is EVERYONE being so coy. If he has something to say about his status...why not tell the local media and fans that support him and wonder about his status every day. It's just stupid. Why go on Sirius? It's not like we will not eventually hear it or about it. So why add that extra layer of complexity?
Probably because he's not completely healthy and talking about a timetable for these kinds of things presents problems. They don't know when he's coming back for sure.

Look how much everyone here is starved for news on TG. If they told you definitively that he would be back next week for example, if he weren't ready by then everyone here would have a heart attack and assume that he wouldn't be back for the rest of the year.

There's no rush to bring him back. We've got a 3 game division lead. We are in the running for HFA. We can afford to be cautious with him because of they way we've played to this point. Anything we get from him this season is gravy, so just appreciate that fact and leave it be.

Fingers crossed, here's hoping T Glenn returns soon! :)

Looking forward to the re-cap!

Having him back for the GB game would be huge but I'll wait until it is definite. Besides in Glenn's first game, whenever that will be, we probably get him on the field maybe 3 or so times so he can get back into football shape and begin re-establishing the necessary communication between he and Romo. Bet Romo will be delighted to have his favorite WR back again and sure hope Glenn can play like his old self.

Romo is already playing with his favorite WR, and the best Receiver on the team.

The reason we have no news on TG, is that there is no news other than he was seen at the Ranch today.

People, it would be Grrrrrrrrrrrreat to have TG back, it would make us very very very potent on offense, I guess(depending on how effective he would be).

Everyone, really needs to face up to the fact that TG, has played his last game already most likely. When he did not make it back, Oct. 23, I stopped expecting to have TG, back period.

He was either on the first two hours of The Afteroon Blitz, Opening Drive, or Moving the Chains.

I didn't hear anything of him on the shows that were replayed last night.

Your also probably one of those who posted that Ellis wouldn't be able to play again and if he did he wouldn't be worth keeping around -- so we just cut him or put him on IR. Well Ellis is big and a big contributor.

Hopefully Terry Glenn can come back and also contribute. This guy took a chance on having one kind of surgery instead of a more dicey op cause he desperately wants this one last chance to be part of a team which is 1 of maybe 2 teams in the NFC who legit shot to play in the SB. Chances to play in the SB and if we lucky to somehow come away with a win is something most players, particularly vets desperately want as their careers winding down.

hey dtown, where you at? we need to know what you heard. anybody who reads this thread needs to bump it.

This is so incorrect. JJ is a very smart business man and great owner. Do you really think he would hold open a spot on the 53 if he wasn't gettin positive info and feedback regarding TG's return. JJ knows exactly whats going with TG and I bets he's in regular contact with him consistently. He'll be back and ready to go, soon I bet too.

Hey, I would be happy as a jackrabbit, if T.G., came back healthy. I just don't see it happening.

Now, I can see Jerry being in constant contact with T.G., and I can picture T.G. asking Jerry to hold a spot for him, because he wants to try and make it back, and I can picture Jerry telling him he will hold that spot, because Jerry is loyal to his players, but Jerry's deadline to T.G. is DEc. 9th, if he does not start any running next week, T.G. will not be playing anymore football, at least not in Dallas. Oh, if Glenn does come back to play ball this will be his last year in Dallas.

You can say that most likely that TG has played his last game, or that you don't expect him back, but you can't expect everyone to "face up to the FACT that he has played his last game" when it's not fact.

Loyalty is one thing, stupidity is another. This is a business and JJ isn't stupid. He's not holding that spot open just to be loyal, he's getting positive info regarding TG and thats why that spot remains open. JJ is loyal but he's no fool.

Believe what you want, unless you know for sure, then say so.

But just because you think you know Jerry, and how he does business, nah Doc, you should know better thant to try and think that you know what someone else is doing.

Like I said I'll be happy, but T.G. is way past his original due date, now he has a final day of DEc. 9th, and it is fast approaching, and if T.G. was close we would have heard something, he has not even been running yet.

This is not a game of, let's keep this a secret from the rest of the league, what kind of game is that Mansta?

The thing that I'm saying is fact, is that T.G. will not be wearing a Star next season.

That'll depend on his contract.

His base is only $1.7 million in '08. He had a very large roster bonus (or some such) this past season. If he has another of those, he'll be gone. If not, and he plays well at the end of the season, I could definitely see him hanging around for a final season.

In Glenn's case it will depend on his age and the health problems he has had since he has been here.

Jerry and Jeff Ireland and the staff understands that we cannot continue to count on older receivers. Jerry will keep T.O. and he will go after some established FA, make a trade (C. Johnson) thru the draft.

Really Glenn knows this as well, and that is why he wants to be a part of this SB championship.
