Terry Glenn, WR — Dallas Cowboys Oct. 23, 9:14 a.m.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports Glenn has not put a timetable on his return from knee surgery, but he is expected to begin practicing and eventually playing, probably next month.

Fantasy Source Spin: Don't expect much from Glenn when he returns, especially with the emergence of Patrick Crayton and Jason Witten. Still, Glenn will add more power to an already potent Cowboys offense when he returns.

Once Glenn is up to full speed Crayton will be option #4 in the passing game. The way it shoudl be.

The #1 goal in the 2008 free agency period will be to find Glenn's replacement. If he misses this year after taking the less effective surgery to repair his knee, just how much can the Cowboys expect next year?

Even when he comes back he won't be at full speed, he won't be right all season and I bet you there's a 95% chance he reaggrivates it at some point if he comes back.

First Jason has not just arived, He has been with the team longer then romo and Owens... Second when Glenn comes back he will be 100% he wouldn't come back if he where anything less he wouldn't feel right taking the spot on the roster of someone who was healthy and could do the job better and give the boys a better chance to win, Unlike some people I won't name McNabbs but they know who they are. Third it was said by JG Jerry and Wade when Glenn does return and when he is 100% he will be the #2 so crayton will have to hop back at the back of the line where he belongs.

you are kidding yourself if you think Terry Glenn will EVER be 100% again.......he will return...pop as many pills as he can to get through the season...and give it one last shot to try and win a Super Bowl. Jerry rewarded Glenn for past production...I have NO PROBLEM with that. Which is why Glenn is trying to get back on the field...hind sight is 20/20...but we obviously would have been better letting Glenn go and going after someone like Donte Stallworth. But that is OK....Jerry is insulating himself from having to think he can't live without aging players..hence all of the OL he is stockpiling...hence the drafting of Spencer...hence the drafting of DL over the last couple of years. Now he just needs to do the same in the secondary...we threw a couple of 7th round picks at CB a few years ago to provide depth. It is time to throw a 1st day pick at a CB and at WR. And we cannot miss...we have to hit. If we do...we could go on a special run

I think you're right. It's too bad Cleveland is having a decent season. :(

We're going to have to spend yet another top first round pick on the defense because it seems the top corners go before the WR's. More teams are going to use the spread type offense so the trend is likely to become even more pronounced next season. We'll see how it goes this season. The next few weeks should be revealing.

I would not be against taking 2 DB's(or 1 DB and a REAL FS) in first round and signing Chad Johnson or Anquan Boldin....

I would expect Glenn snaps to be limited when he does return. I think he will be a big help to the team but with so much times missed being in condition to play a lot of snaps I think would be asking a lot out of Glenn.

If we get Terry Glenn back its OVER!

agree,

however i'm not convinced he'll be back at all. in my opinion the fact that there is no time table means it's a 50/50 proposition.

i think there's a chance he'll be put on IR later and retire

I think Glenn has one good stretch run left in him. THAT being the last qtr of the regular season.

We shouldnt have rushed him back in the beginning of this season though...

I think it's time we moved on without Glenn.

After the season that may be the case but if you can bring a weapon back to the team late in the season without it costing you then you would be foolish not to use him.
