I miss this dude.He had the trust of Romo and I found it sad that he couldnt stay healthy that last year or two.He was the perfect WR for Romo .He had a knack to get open in the zone.Crisp route runner.I feel he was undervalued by many.I know he messed up in that Seattle game but I believe if he could have stayed healthy he would have taken us over a lot of humps.I would definitely try to find a WR in the draft that has that knack.I will wishful think and hope we can get Jordan Shipley. He has that ability.

Ogletree has a knack for getting open like that too

No doubt about it, Terry was a good player for the Cowboys. Unfortunately he couldn't stay healthy, but when he was wearing the star the guy was a reliable wr.

I miss Michael Irvin.

And Drew Pearson.

And Tony Hill.

And Butch Johnson.

And ...

Oops! My bad. :eek::

he sure does...and I wonder if a little bit of "sacred cows" stiff is going on. We need guys that can get open QUICKLY....Ogletree can do that.

Yeah, don't we all? Especially Irvin, who could have gotten this team to play regardless of HC. But alas, there was and can only be one of them in lifetime. More than his Stats Irvin was more to the team than just pass catching, that we didn't know till he retired. Same with Darren Woodson to the secondary.

Someone said this on NFL network I believe, that you don't see the nastiness with Dallas D or OFfense. Only one probably had that was Mark Columbo on Offense, but he wasn't the prime player. Instead you have Marion Barber chest thumping with a 2 yard gain. Or you have Terrence Newman, who wants to be HOF, but plays like a bust in key times of games these days, and then never admits fault.

I agree Juck. I loved Terry Glenn while he was here. It sucks his knees gave out on him like they did.

Maybe OTREE if ever given the chance can replace him to a degree.

Another over inflated value of a UT player b/c he's a UT player....:stop:

You probably thought Roy Williams would be the next Larry Fitz before we traded for that garbage...

Miles Austin > Terry Glenn [/topic]
They're both good wr's (or in Glenn's case was), so no need to put either one of them down.

Glenn had the most insane body control/hands combo I've ever seen. His sideline catches were a thing of beauty.

Not even close, yet.

If Austin ever becomes as reliable as Glenn the Cowboys will be vastly improved. They don't have anybody that clutch on offense now, other than Tony.

Newman showed alot of fire when he was slapping around Campo on the sidelines.
