Texan Fans @ The Game

Houston seems to have lost another NFL team as quickly as they got it. Because what I saw from the Texans yesterday had very little resemblance of an NFL team.

Did any of y'all catch Texans Fan's act at the game yesterday? In particular, before the game tailgating? We TG in the Blue lot right behind the Corall and there was a contingent of Texans fans acting classless for damn near 4 hours. Talking noise, doing the whole "TO/OD" bit. Calling Texas Stadium the "biggest you know what-hole in Texas," etc.

Of course, none of them were around after the game.

Just curious of any of you witnessed their act yesterday. Got to say, most classless group of fans I've witnessed at TS -- and that's counting Eagle Fan too!

I was by the corrall too and most were ok. Raging Bull were the big tailgaiting group buy the corrall an all of them were pretty cool. I had a blue parking pass and gave some the Texan fans that were hanging out with them a ride in.


I did think it was weak for them to leave like they did. From what I understand they usually stay for about 3 hrs after the game. Although the weather may had something to do with that.

I was right there as well behind the Corral, and I thought they were funny... delusional, but funny.

During the game, I was sitting near some Houston fans, and even through the whole first half, they refused to talk smack about being ahead... they just kept reassuring me that they would end up losing the game, and probably in a horrific fashion, and lo and behold they were right!

By the way, did you see those "Cooler-Scooters" people were driving around in the tailgate lot? I gotta get me one of those!

For God's sake, move out of Houston. Nobody outside of Houston EVER hears anything about the Texans. Not even here in College Station.

Pouring a little lighter fluid on it and setting the thing on fire would have been funny as hell.

Then he drives the thing under YOUR car, ignites the gas tank, and a fight breaks out that makes Miami/Florida International look like a mild disagreement. Beer, Lighting fluid, a cross state rivalry and a parking lot full of cars don't mix.

That is the truth. I grew up in Houston and then left for 7 years...only to have to come back recently and it is miserable.

The worst part is their sports radio, they are clueless about everything. Their takes on sports inside and outside of Houston are completely delusional...and all the hosts seem to have whiney little voices that grate against your soul.

I had honestly forgotten the Texans even existed until I came to Houston.
