Texan GM appears to put CJ Stroud on notice

He is a great example of why not to crown a QB after his rookie year. He was the 2nd coming of Brady as a rookie

The only thing I can see other than paying him is maybe trading him in the offseason and bringing in a vet who they think gives them a more immediate chance to win before the defense ages/prices out. It's unlikely but I can see them trading Stroud and signing Baker, or something like that.

I'm torn on Stroud. Did he get too high on himself after his rookie year? Or was that just an one off season for him?
He looked like the next big QB, only to look alright. He has a top defense to lead that half, and he does have weapons at WR.

There was no pressure on him as a rookie
now there is and he does not handle it well
