This is the cowboys. There are no guarantees with this team. This is the perfect game for our team to 'take it easy' and end up losing. We almost always play awful after winning the prior game a huge margin. I hope McCarthy has these guys focused and ready to play.

I seem to remember America's Cowboy talking about a 70 burger before this game...the Texan franchise's first game ever.



How did that turn out?

Most embarrassing game in our history as far as I'm concerned. Losing to an expansion team and living in Houston made it worse.

A lot of teams we are playing down the stretch are going to circle the wagons and declare it their Superbowl for the year. They have nothing to lose and will pull out all the stops.

Fortunately for us they will have to throw the ball for any chance.

And lose draft position? That’s all they care about now.

If you had to find a source of consternation from the Texans, consider Lovie Smith, master of the Tampa 2. When Dak has struggled in recent season, it’s generally been two high defenses.

Will the Texan team give up?

The issue with the Texans is TOs. The QB either throws it to the other team or puts it on the ground. If we can discourage there
Run game, and methodically put up points for 3 Quarters and get at least a 3 score lead then we get to recklessly rush the passer. Until then we have to make sure they don’t get any big plays or even consistent production in the run game. A huge lesson was learned in greenbay of what can happen when you don’t discourage the run.
