DeMarco Murray is going to be so worn out by the bye. The Cowboys NEED to figure out a way to spell him. I don't think they trust Randle or Dunbar in pass pro, but Murray will be useless in December at this pace.

I really think Ryan Williams needs to be on the active roster.

Why would you activiate Williams? Randle and Dunbar had 5 plays COMBINED. What are you going to do, all of a sudden give Williams 10?

Just give Randle and Dunbar a series or two each to spell Murray and wearing him down is less of a concern.

Because he's a better runner than both of the two and I believe is a more trusted pass protector.

I think his weakness was that he couldn't play STs. He only missed one PB assignment from my account during the PS.

Randle needs more snaps, hayden needs less snaps, wilbur needs more snaps (passrush situations), jack crawford needs less snaps

our second round pick escobar had a whooping 4 snaps and hanna had 20.
How about lets stop wasting second round picks (premium pick) on a TE thats basically going to be a blocker only or not really play.

Yeah. Well, it was a weakness relative to Randle, which is why Randle is ahead of him on the roster. But Murray's just too good in pass protection to take him out of the game if you're not in the process of padding a two-score lead. I don't think we see Murray getting much rest outside of the one series rotation in the second half we're seeing now until and unless we're executing well enough to be putting teams away later in the games.

And I would take it a step further and de-activate him this week and instead go with Bishop and/or Coleman.

Also will be nice to get Lawrence back reduce the snap count to those that aren't playing well.

Unfortunately, Marinelli seems to love Hayden. I would prefer to see Bishop as the starting 1-tech.

IIRC, Randle was a better pass blocker in the preseason than R. Williams.

He was, but DAL doesn't seem to trust him in regular season games. He has only played on 7 passing down snaps and has only blocked 3 times all year. Yesterday, he allowed one hurry and one hit. I think it's the reason why the spread teams out when Murray is off the field.

Even if Randle can't pass block, they should be able to get him more than 3 snaps in a game.

I remember Dunbar having a really good pass block in one of the past games. It was either the Saints game or the Rams game.

Maybe Escobar's shoulder is still not 100%.
Dunbar actually is the 3rd back, so it seems. I think the game situations dictates when the use him and what packages the planned for.

So you say the team doesnt trust Lance and Joseph and your suggestion is to promote Williams?

Ride Murray until the wheels fall off. If you look back at backs that had monster workloads....the effect wasn't felt until the following season when those backs were less effective.

Murray is young and has less wear than even his young age would suggest.

Manage his weekday workload. And then ride him until the wheels fall off.

Hayden should be 18-25 snaps max. Also Dunbar needs more snaps as does Escobar

He looked decent in the preseason but he's far from proven.

It's also odd anytime they say a player can't play special teams because that's all about effort and toughness.

For everyone that keeps saying Dallas does not trust Randle...I agree with you. But that is also bothersome to me. Because if Murray gets injured. That guy...that MADE the team....that you DON"T trust....is going to HAVE to play!!!

For a position that many claim is EASY to fill....we seemingly have only ONE on the roster?!

Tough to pin that one on Randle when the guy he was responsible for picking up was JJ Watt.
