agree...more than likely there is a bunch of guys just like this player we could have signed for nothing and kept our pick. These kinds pf players are a dime a dozen this time of year. Or we could have just poached a player from a teams PS and kept our pick. This looks like Jerry trying to prove he is a fb guy and HE THINKS he will catch lightning in a bottle and salvage the season yet. This looks extremely desperate.

It’s more principle than the pick IMO. They could’ve signed this dude off the streets last week. Tons of practice squad guys out there as well.
