Keep in mind Cooks has a 2024 cap hit of $24.6M with no dead money for Dallas to worry about and will be 30 years old this season so this may be a one-and-done season trade opportunity for Dallas.
If traded to Dallas, the guess is that Cooks will be placed in the slot given Gallup and Lamb are on the outside.

The compensation sounds acceptable, but the player is rather underwhelming.

You are slotting him in with a player that had over 100 catches last year. Cooks is money for 70, 1000. What's underwhelming about that
