Texans Work Out World's Fastest Man, should we?

Roids cloud over his head, pass. We had a guy who ran light out who couldnt catch a cold.

I'm Randal Williams, and I approve this thread.
Thats exactly who I was thinking about. We have had our share of fast as hell players who cant catch worth a dang.

With the talent we already have at reciever... no thanks!

Ditto! The Texans are once again "bottom feeders". They are looking for any and everything to bolster what little talent they have from top to bottom.

Let the scrub teams take a look. We don't need him. Besides, how is David Carr going to get the ball deep to this guy when the O-line can't even block or give him passing lanes to throw?

No thank you!

Does the name Renaldo Neiamiah (sp?) ring a bell? He was a track star that SF tried to turn in to a wr in the 80's. All it took was him getting laid out once and he was done.

Does the name "bullet" Bob Hayes ring a bell for you? He was a track star prior to football.

Just because you work him out, doesn't mean you have to sign him. You just want to see if he can return punts, catch a punt, and if he can, then you place him on the PS, and see what he has in training camp.

If he can't atleast catch a punt, then you don't give him a second look. But as a GM, you turn over every stone, you never know what you'll find.

Just to "one-up" them we should give a try-out to the world's FATTEST man!

Hayes was a football player that ran track at a high level. He played football at Florida A&M. Gatlin and Nehemiah before him are track guys that want to try their hand at football. They don't have college football experience.
