Texas A&M at S. Carolina

They weren't a top 5 team entering the year IMHO.
Too young, too many question marks, not enough known quality players.
BUT bringing in the freshman Texas kid at CB and the QB looks better than they've had there.
The offense has went spread and they present more problems now.
The WR is a top 10 pick and the RB group is NFL ready.
Landon Collins is the eventual Thorpe winner imho.
They deserve to be in the top 5 now.

WVU isn't bad at all.
That was a quality game and will probably be one of three or four hardest Bama has all year.
The SEC is tough but there are some easy outs to like in any conference tho not many if any in the SEC West.

I hope. I'm spoiled seeing them win so often & pretty easily.

I figure it'll be Oregon at the end.

If I had to guess I'd say OU and Bama at the end.
So many ways to win: passing, rushing, ST, defense.
Oregon is really good at what they do but it's so system based that they find a game to lose every year it seems.

If could end up
1 FSU v 4 OU
2 ORE v 3 Bama

I'd pick the lower seeds to advance out of that.

Of course any onecan lose and get knocked out of the top 4 altogether.
Wish we had 8 team playoffs!!!

I like your posts! I hope it pans out that way but I guess Baylor could move up.

I cannot stand FSU or OU either.

In that scenario above I am basically predicting Bama and OU both have 1 loss but no one in their conferences have less losses.
ORE and FSU get through clean because conf scheds aren't deadly.
But run into tough teams in the playoffs.

If Baylor runs the table clean they'll go but one loss IMHO and they are out due to SOS.
