I think the higher the rate of speed, the more deadly the accidents are, not more accidents. Kinda like with Planes, there are less accidents then cars, but when there is a crash usually no one survives.

Hmmm? Never thought of it like that. I have no statistics to back up why that seems to make sense but, at face value, it does. So until disproven, this will now become my way of looking at it.
