Take advantage while you can...

130 starts just North of Georgetown all the way to Seguin, but they aren't clear if the whole thing is free just yet. Sounds like from 290 South but no one knows for sure...

Texas Autobahn for now...

I'm dying to move to Austin or Dallas. I just wish you guys had more apparel manufacturing businesses there! Since you don't I'm stuck in NJ for a little longer.

Hopefully you get to, we'd welcome you here! :gent:

Are you originally from NJ?

Well you tax EVERY resident in Texas for expressways, then try to make money on them to boot by making it a tollway... not a good thing... and not fair...

Perry is an arse... along with those that go along with him... and our City Council member Chris Riley who attaches bike lanes to everything... or votes no...

They ALL were just busted for violating the public open meeting laws. They said they were sorry and would never do it again and signed a crap piece of paper saying so... they should all be in jail...

My next traffic ticket? "Oh I swear it will never happen again, I'll sign a doc"... yeah right... putzes and crooks...

You have received a slap on the wrist from the Cowboys Zone unofficial tracker of such things. :D

cost us $20+ to go through the whole thing twice and it is designed for that speed, going 90 was no problem, lanes are wide, curves are somewhat banked. Headed to SA next week, didn't know it was free, thanks for the heads up.

Just until November 10... and only confirmed for South of 290... not sure about the rest...

Well good thing the road was "designed" for 85 MPH.

I'm just waiting until 90 MPH is the speed limit so I can finally hit 88 in my time machine.

Stupid laws.

Roads?

Where you're going, you won't need roads.

True, but until my Ronco food processor arrives in the mail I need to get that thing up to 88 MPH.

I assume some will still push the limits. I usually go 5 over on normal streets and 10 over on highways and interstates. So I guess I would be doing around 95 in that strip of road.

Don't feral hogs taste pretty bad? Or worse than regular hog

Depends... many feral hogs are formerly domesticated pigs that have escaped or been turned loose... it also depends on their diet...

When I lived in East Texas a coworker used to round up some of those on his land and we would have cooked pig... delicious...

There are some that taste bad... and then there is javelinas, which are actually large rodents and you don't eat those... unless you like musky rat...

Interesting, I thought most were just feral and never domesticated. Don't they reproduce like crazy?

Yes... and again it depends on the stock...

There is a difference between feral pigs and wild hogs... his particular feral pigs had little hair and were smallish... they had stayed within the feral stock. However, feral pigs mate with wild hogs frequently and then they are a different animal. Wild hogs traditionally have bristly thick hair and a ridge on their back and the tusks you often see, thus razorbacks... or as we called them in East Texas, Pineywood rooters...

It all depends on the breed and mating habits...
