Sunshine pumping Tech fan speaking...this definitely helps Tech's odds of keeping Leach...that's the glass half full. Gerald Myers is an idiot though.

Leach and his offense are actually ideal for Lubbock. Tech will not out recruit UT or OU. The spread offense that he runs is a fantastic equalizer. Unfortunately, until this year TTU has not given a dead rats arse about defense. Their defense has improved, but they still have a long way to go.

Yes, TT just didn't prepare themselves mentally for this game.

But there is no way, TT is this bad.

As I stated, Texas Tech has to learn to be ready for everyone's best shot week after week like Oklahoma and Texas.

I think they got a little complacent after the big win against Texas and just didn't know how to handle themselves because they have never been in this position before.

If they can have the same success next year, I think they don't make this same mistake again.

I think they are better. They actually started getting better as soon as they asked Lyle Setenich (sp?) to jump off a cliff after the OSU game last year. They are on the right track, but they absolutely have to keep Leach.

I read that Myers is going to attempt to sign him to an extension this offseason. I was up in Lubbock two weeks ago and read it in the AJ that he does not want to discuss it now, so that Leach can focus on this season. I wish they had focused a we bit more tonight.

He stopped the negotiations last summer...looking back. How stupid was that? He should have been able to look at the schedule and see that TTU was setup for a nice year. Any fool could see that. Oh well, I hope we don't lose him. If we do lose him, I hope we can get someone like Art Briles/Mike Price, etc. Mike Price would like it there. A few strip clubs in Lubbock, and Lubbock wouldn't care if he woke up in a hotel with a stripper.

hahahaha, nudey bars. The Nibbles building is still standing on 84. I forgot to see if Players was still open. The Boom Boom is still there I believe, someone just got shot their recently.

Something in the pit of my stomach says Leach wont leave after a nasty defeat like this. At least I hope. Leach is a perfect fit for Tech. I believe this upcoming recruiting class is very good. I think I even saw a 5 star recruit committed. I dont think I have ever seen that since I went there and graduated in 05 or since. String a few of those together...
