I'm the last person on Earth to whine about the refs, there has to be a reason. Sucks to lose our best player on a blatant hold that wasn't called. I thought you didn't care who wins? Why are you running your mouth?

I REALLY don't care who wins. I like both teams....but the whining about the officiating in this thread is pretty loud. From an unbiased view, this game isn't that poorly officiated. They've missed some calls, for sure, but it hasn't been THAT bad. Tech is simply outplaying the Longhorns. Badly.

they didnt review the penalty...they reviewed the pass...

the WR was interfered with.....but because the ball was tipped, the interference is negated....if that makes any sense.

Hell, if it wasn't for replay on what was clearly a tipped pass, they would have given UT another chance at the two point conversion.

Regardless, you won't be hearing me whine about the refs if the Longhorns lose tonight. They were clearly not playing up to their potential in the 1st half and now that they're finally showing a sense of urgency in the 2nd half, they're at least making a game of it.

too bad they couldnt get a TD before the half.....cause they would have gone for 1 on that last TD and it would be a 29-24 game right now.....

You're right. They've been pretty bad. I was just getting the feeling that some of you guys were starting to blame the score on the refs alone, when that clearly isn't the case. I don't think anyone is doing that now though.

Lots of time left. If this gets close, then the refs may yet still be to blame.
